How to Correct UGC NET 2024 Application Form?

Some details of the UGC NET form can be altered by candidates who have already submitted the application form. The students must bear in mind that they will not be permitted to modify all the details of their UGC NET application form in the correction window. The steps to proceed with the application correction of UGC NET 2024 are given below. The candidates who have filled out the UGC NET 2024 form can follow these steps to make the desired corrections in it.

• Visit the official website of UGC NET -ntanet.nic.in
• On the home page, find the box with the title ‘Application For Correction’ on it.
• Click on the box and you will be redirected to a fresh new page.
• Fill in your details under the section of ‘Only Registered Candidates Sign In’.
• Enter your application number, password, and security pin.
• Click on ‘Sign In’.
• Your application form will open.
• Make all the changes that you wish to make, provided those alterations are allowed.
• Be very careful with entering all details as you will not be allowed to make any changes hereafter.
• Pay the extra admission fee, if asked for, through an online payment gateway like net banking or a debit/ credit card.
• Submit the form for the final time.
• Take a printout of your corrected UGC NET 2022 application form and keep it for future use.

Changes Allowed in UGC NET 2024 Application Form

Only those candidates who have filled and submitted their UGC NET 2024 will be permitted to make changes in their forms during the UGC NET 2024 application correction window. 

UGC NET application form particulars in which candidates can make corrections if required include:

Candidates can make corrections in any of the particulars of the online application form, excluding the following fields:

For candidates who have verified Aadhaar Card	No change allowed in the mobile number, email address, permanent address & correspondence address No change allowed in candidate’s name, date of birth and gender No change is allowed in the photo Change is allowed either in the father’s name or mother’s name (anyone only)

Age Limit for UGC NET 2024 Application Form

The candidates must check the age UGC NET eligibility 2024 to appear in the exam. The age eligibility for JRF and Assistant Professor has been given below for the candidates:

Age Limit for JRF

The applicants who are less than or equal to 30 years as of December 1, 2022, can apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The candidates who fall under the category of SC/ST/OBC get relaxation according to UGC norms.

Age Limit for Assistant Professor

There is no upper age limit to apply for the Assistant Professor exam. The candidates who have completed their post-graduation or appearing in their final year can apply for the UGC NET assistant professor.

UGC NET Age Relaxation 2024

Below is information for candidates regarding the age restriction for the UGC NET/JRF exam. Candidates are awarded the relaxation in accordance with the UGC standards established by the Indian government:

• The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Female/PwD/Third Gender will get age relaxation upto 5 years.
• The research scholars will get age relaxation of upto five years depending on the time span spent on research.
• Age restrictions of up to three years will apply to LLM candidates.
• Depending on the length of time spent serving in the defence forces, candidates from the armed forces may receive an age relaxation of up to 5 years.

UGC NET Answer Key 2024

UGC NET provisional answer key will be released after the exam is concluded for UGC NET/JRF. The board will also make available to the candidates the UGC NET response sheet along with the provisional answer key. To determine their scores on the UGC NET exam, candidates must compare their response sheets with the provisional answer key. Candidates have the right to object to the published answer key. Following a review of the candidates' objections, the NTA will announce the final results on behalf of the UGC. The exam cutoff list will be released along with the final result. The candidates can check the category-wise cutoff of their subjects in the released cut-off list. The candidates can check their final results by logging into their registered accounts.

UGC NET E Ceritificate

The UGC NET/ JRF is awarded to those candidates who successfully qualify for the exam by crossing the cutoff. The certificates are released online on the official websites by the NTA on behalf of UGC. These digitally signed UGC-approved e-certificates attest to the candidate's eligibility for the NET/JRF exam. In the past, UGC would provide the certificates seven to eight months following the announcement of the results. However, the HRD ministry launched a platform so that applicants may get the UGC NET e-certificate instantly due to their needs.
