UGC NET May 2021 Admit Card (New Date Soon)

UGC NET May 2021 (December 2020) admit card has been postponed due to the postponement of the exam. The new date will be notified soon. Usually, NTA releases the UGC NET admit card at least 10 days before the exam. The candidates can access the admit card through the direct link available on this page as and when it is released. It is mandatory to carry the admit card on exam day. As and when NTA releases the admit card for UGC NET 2021 exam, the direct link to check & download the same will be updated here. The admit card is issued to only those who successfully registered for the exam by providing complete information in the application form of UGC NET and have paid the application fee within the stipulated time.

On the examination day, all the candidates must carry UGC NET Admit Card along with one valid Photo ID proof (Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence or Passport). Without these documents, candidates will not be granted entry into the exam hall. The exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of the candidates as Assistant Professor and awarding Junior Research Fellowship Programme (JRF).

How to Download UGC NET May 2021 Admit Card?

In order to download the admit card, you can follow the simple steps mentioned below -

  • Click on the direct link mentioned above to download the UGC NET admit card.
  • A new page will open where you will be required to fill important fields denoting Application Number, Captcha code and Password.
  • Once you enter all the credentials correctly then click on the tab that says 'Submit'.
  • Your UGC NET May 2021 Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  • Take a printout and save a soft copy as well for future reference.

Important Instructions for UGC NET May 2021 Admit Card

  • As soon as you get access to your Admit Card, remember to verify the details mentioned on it.
  • The admit card will not be available offline. No other means of acquiring the Admit Card will be available. 
  • It is mandatory for you to carry the Admit Card to the examination venue, as no candidates will be allowed without the UGC NET Admit Card.
  • You must carry the Admit Card as a hard copy, printed on an A4 sheet to the examination center.
  • Remember to keep your UGC NET Hall Ticket in a good condition, as it is a document that will be asked at every stage of UGC NET 2020 process. Most importantly if the Admit Card is not in a condition then your entry to the examination hall might also be restricted.

One of the most important and vital documents accompanying the Admit Card of UGC NET 2021 is the ID Proof with candidates photograph on it. Candidates must also remember to get a valid proof of identification approved by the Government of India or any Governmental Organisation. Dear student, it seems that you are mixing up two very different things completely. In order to be eligible to apply for the UPSC civil services examination, you at least need to have a graduation degree from any recognised University. For UGC NET, the minimum qualification required to apply is a postgraduate degree. You can select any subject of your choice in UGC NET 2020 and there is no such limitation restricting you to choosing subjects related to your academics. However, it is recommended that you choose a subject related to your post-graduation or graduation as it helps a lot in the exam.
