UGC NET Passing Marks 2024for the June cycle exam will be prescribed by NTA for different categories and subjects. As per the official notification issued by the UGC, candidates belonging to the General category must score a minimum of 40% marks, while those from the reserved category must score at least 35% in both papers to qualify for UGC NET. Candidates who will appear for the UGC NET 2024 June cycle exam will have to score the UGC NET passing marks to get shortlisted for Assistant Professor & Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The UGC NET cutoff for JRF is generally higher than that for the Assistant Professor post. The UGC NET Cutoff 2023 for History for the unreserved category for the December session was 182 for Assistant Professor and 204 percentile for JRF & Assistant Professor. For Commerce, the cutoff was 160 for Assistant Professor and 184 for JRF & Assistant Professor, and for English, it was 182 for Assistant Professor and 208 for JRF & Assistant Professor. NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2024 exam for the June cycle from June 10 to 21, 2024, and release the UGC NET June 2024 Result along with the cutoff in July 2024. To pass the UGC NET exam, a candidate must score the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the NTA. The UGC NET 2024 passing marks are not the same as this minimum qualifying score. UGC NET Passing Marks 2024 for Assistant Professor

To get into the merit list for assistant professor through the UGC NET 2024 exam, a candidate will be required to clear the UGC NET qualifying marks, which are identified by the National Testing Agency. On average, NTA selects 6% of applicants in each field.

UGC NET Passing Marks 2024 for Junior Research Fellowship

Candidates need to clear the UGC NET qualifying marks for the Junior Research Fellowship to get into the final merit list. How to Calculate UGC NET Cutoff 2024 Marks?

The guidelines listed in the steps below are used to determine UGC NET passing marks for each subject:

Step 1: The number of candidates who will qualify in UGC NET is equal to six per cent of the candidates who appeared in both papers of the exam.

Step 2: According to the Government of India's reservation policy, total slots are allocated to applicants from various categories.

Step 3: Candidates must receive the minimum scores shown below to be eligible for the JRF and/or the position of assistant professor.

National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped Hyderabad does not offer any certificate course in special education. They offer the following courses: B.Ed in Special Education (ID) and D.Ed in Special Education (IDD). The seat intake capacity is 33 and 35, respectively. There are no vacant seats for B.Ed course.
