What is a Good Score in AILET 2024?

AILET 2024 was conducted on December 10, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM and the provisional answer key is available on the official website of NLU Delhi. The AILET 2024 test-takers now are eager to know what should be a good score in the AILET 2024 exam. The AILET 2024 answer key along with the master question booklet was released on December 10. Aspirants who have concerns regarding the answer key can submit objections by December 12. The AILET cutoff will be released by NLU Delhi before the counselling process. The candidates who clear the AILET exam can appear for the AILET counselling that is expected to begin on December 20, 2023. The selected candidates will be allotted seats during the AILET 2024 seat allotment process. The cutoff scores depict the minimum marks or last rank required for admission into the BA LL.B and LL.M programs.

The AILET 2024 cutoff depends on certain factors like the number of applicants, number of seats available, reservation policy and performance of candidates in the entrance exam. By analysing the previous years’ cutoffs, students can get insights into current trends and expected cutoffs for the upcoming year. In the previous year, the highest AILET score was 92, while the cutoff for the general category stood at 71.75 marks. This information can help students understand the good score they should aim for in this year’s AILET exam. Factors Determining Good Score in AILET 2024

A good score in AILET 2024 varies every year. It depends on various factors and all of them have been elaborated below-

  1. Total Number of Applicants: The higher the number of candidates appearing for the AILET exam, the higher the competition for a fixed number of seats. It may impact and increase the AILET's good score.

  2. Total Number of Seats: There are only a limited number of seats for BA LLB and LLM admission at NLU Delhi. The total number of vacant seats helps in determining how high the AILET 2024 cutoff score rises.

  3. Performance of Candidates: The good score in AILET 2024 increases if more candidates have performed well in the exam.

  4. Reserved/ Unreserved Category: The good score for AILET 2024 is different for each category. It is higher for unreserved category candidates while lower for reserved category candidates.

  5. Difficulty Level of Exam: A tough or difficult question paper may result in a lower cutoff while an easy or moderate question paper may lead to a high cutoff. This means that if the difficulty level of the exam is high, the score required to secure admission at NLU Delhi is low.

What is a Good Score in AILET 2024?

According to the previous year’s AILET question paper analysis, the exam was challenging, so the cut-offs were low, around 71 marks. The AILET cutoffs for this year could, however, differ from last year because of the various factors stated above. However, one must set a goal to achieve the goal and work towards it if one wants to increase their chances of getting into NLU Delhi. The cut-off has fluctuated between 71 and 100 over the past three years, so students should aim for 100 to improve their chances of being admitted to NLU Delhi. Prior to the exam, the university uploads the qualifying cutoff.

The NLU declares the admission cutoff announcement during the counselling phase.

Those who do not achieve the cutoff rank will not be taken into consideration for the production of the merit list.

If there are still seats available, students who do not meet the admission cut-off may be admitted in the mop-up round.

What Takes Place Following AILET 2024 Cutoff Release?

  • Conducted online, the counselling process enables candidates to remotely partake in it.
  • Only those candidates who have successfully qualified in AILET 2024 are eligible to engage in the counselling process.
  • Candidates are required to report on schedule for the counselling process and carry essential documents for verification.
