AILET Exam Cutoff 2026 Seat Reservation: Seat Matrix

• The General Category has a total of 50 seats.
• Other Backward Classes (OBCs) Non-Creamy Layer has 22% of the total seats. The number of seats for OBC Non-Creamy Layer stands at 24.
• Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories have 15% and 7.5% of the total seats. The total number for the SC and ST categories is 17 and 8, respectively.
• Economically Weaker Section has 11 seats.
• 1 seat is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants and 2 for Residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

AILET Exam Cutoff 2026 Selection Process

AILET exam cutoff 2026 selection process is based on the scores obtained in the said entrance exam. AILET 2026 for BA LLB (Hons) will have 3 segments - English Language, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning; based on which questions will be asked. 

The total mark of the written test is 150. After the results are declared, the university releases the provisional merit list (created based on marks secured) of selected aspirants for the individual counselling rounds.
