AILET 2022 Seat Allotment Detailed Process

The AILET 2022 seat allotment program commences with the publication of the merit list. The AILET seat allocation procedure is described in detail below.

  • Publication of the merit list
  • Invitation list distribution
  • AILET 2022 counseling
  • Seat allotment will be assigned in multiple rounds.

Release of Merit List

At the time of the results, the AILET merit list for both UG and PG courses will be made available. The merit list informs candidates of their All India rank, including category rank, which determines whether or not the individual will receive a seat through AILET seat allotment.

AILET seat allotment is based on the applicant's rank in the merit list and their College selection as specified during AILET 2022 registration.

AILET Invite List

The names and admit card numbers of candidates who are nominated for counseling and seat allotment will be published in the AILET 2022 invite list.

AILET Counseling Process

Candidates whose names appear on the invite list will get AILET 2022 counseling call letters, which can be downloaded by visiting the AILET 2022 official website. Candidates must pay a registration cost for counseling, which will be adjusted with the semester fees at the assigned college.

Candidates must submit the documentation requested by the universities during AILET 2022 counseling. If online counseling is available, candidates must submit their scanned papers through the AILET 2022 login portal; otherwise, they must go to the counseling venue.

  • The candidates are required to upload self-attested documents which have been mentioned by NLU - Delhi.
  • The candidates must check into the official portal using their roll number or application number and date of birth.
  • Then they need to pay the counseling fee (50,000/- approx) and upload the required documents asked in the portal.
  • After completing the counseling fee transaction, the applicants will get an auto-generated slip.
  • Applicants should possess a hard copy of the acknowledgment note for clarification purposes.
  • Following the counseling, those selected for provisional admission will be required to pay the rest amount of Rs. 82,500/- (approx) online through the same online portal they enrolled for the Online Counseling.
  • After completing a transaction, an acknowledgment slip will be generated automatically.
  • Candidates should maintain a printout of the acknowledgment slip (received after payment of fees) for future reference.
  • The applicants' admission will be subject to the fulfillment of their educational qualification conditions.
  • Only those participants who have completed the counseling registration and paid the counseling charges within the time limit will be included in the University's provisional merit list.
  • Students should note that registering for counseling does not guarantee a seat at the counseling.

Release of AILET Seat Allotment

  • AILET seat allotment will be done in multiple rounds.
  • NLU - D will release the category-wise list of the applicants invited for counseling.
  • The list will comprise three times more candidates than the actual number of seats per category.
  • The University will announce the first list of provisionally selected candidates along with the waiting list. Only candidates who have enrolled for counseling will be considered.
  • The University will assign a deadline for the payment of the balance fees by the chosen first list of applicants.
  • The University will then declare the second list of candidates from the Waiting List who have been provisionally selected.
