Thousands of applications are invited twice every year, in January and July, to the AUD admission. Candidates can apply for admission in various courses in both the admission sessions. The university may deem it necessary to provide instruction and research in the streams of vocation, knowledge technology, and profession. Ambedkar University Delhi courses admission requires applicants to qualify for the entrance examinations for certain degrees, diplomas, certificates, and other academic courses. AUD Selection Criteria

12th Marks

Candidates who have passed the class 12th exam from various boards qualify for the courses directly. For several courses, passing the 12th exams alone becomes a qualifying criterion. They just need to fill up an AUD Delhi application form and pay the due application fees of about Rs 390/-(GEN) or 150/-(SC/ST) for UG courses and 510/-(GEN) or 200/-(SC/ST) for PG courses to apply for. A merit list is prepared based on the percentages students have obtained in their higher secondary board exams and the qualified students get selected for admission.

Graduation Marks

Candidates who have passed graduation with relevant streams will not directly qualify for the Ambedkar University Delhi Post Graduate courses. They only need to have to fill up an application form and pay the due application fees of about Rs. 390/-(GEN) or 150/-(SC/ST) for UG courses and 510/-(GEN) or 200/-(SC/ST) for PG courses. Then they need to seat for the entrance exam in which they need to clear the cut-off and score enough marks to clear the exam and get the AUD Delhi PG admission of their desire. For some courses, having a UG degree is the main qualifying criterion.

Other Methods

The candidate must ensure to achieve the required cut-offs of the entrance examination for certain courses, etc. In addition to that, they will also need to pass the rounds of personal interviews and group discussions.

The University has started the AUD application process for the January session admission to several courses for the academic year 2023 any admission for many more courses is yet to begin. For lateral entry courses, the application fee must be paid through challan in the Indian Bank. 

> Finally submit the application form and it is recommended to take the print as a hard copy of the Ambedkar University Delhi admission form and fee receipt to keep the important admission information like registration number and application fee payment details.

> Later a hall ticket for the entrance exam (if required, not for all courses) will be published by the university. 

> Collect the hall ticket and keep a printed copy to take along with you to the examination centre.

> After the exam a merit list will be published according to which you can either get admitted or get rejected.

> To increase the chances of getting admission, students must:

a. Reach their examination centres on time. 

b. They must find information related to the exam, such as the previous year's papers, syllabus, and the question paper pattern, on the official AUD website. Accessing such information will help the candidates prepare better for the exam and increase their chances of getting selected. 

> Based on the candidate's performance on this exam, their rank is decided. The university then publishes this rank on the official website. If the student satisfies the criteria, they get admission into the university. The scores candidates achieve in these rounds will determine if they get admission or not.

> AUD MBA admissions are based on marks a candidate gets in the CAT entrance examination. Candidates who have qualified and hold valid scores on the CAT / CMAT / MAT entrance exam are exempted from being eligible to opt for this course. The application fee for the MBA course will be announced in the future in events and notification and has to be paid through Challan or Online Banking.

> AUD PhD admission is done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in an entrance exam followed by a personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified and hold a valid score of UGC / CSIR NET (JRF) / SET / GATE/ Teacher Research Fellowship are exempted from the university PhD entrance test. M.Phil. passed, and a permanent teacher in a university with a minimum of 4 years experience is also exempted from the university entrance exam. Such candidates are directly invited for a personal interview.

> For other courses (except PhD, and MBA), filling out the Ambedkar University Delhi application form is enough as admission will depend upon how much the student scored in their 12th board exam and graduation for UG and PG courses, respectively.
