JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024: NTA is expected to release the result either on April 24 evening or by the April 25 Morning. Once released the JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024 Link will be added below. Along with the result, authorities will also be releasing the official JEE Main cutoff, state-wise toppers list, and important highlights of the exam. All the candidates who have appeared in the Session 1 exam can also check their official rank after the announcement of JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024. Based on the marks scored in the exam 2.5 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for the JEE Advanced exam. Registration for the JEE advance exam will begin on April 27 2024. Also, those who do not get selected for the advanced exam can apply for the JoSAA counselling scheduled to begin on June 10 2024. The JEE Main Session 2 scorecard will consist of candidte personal details along with marks secured in the exam, candidate rank and more. 

NIT Agartala CSE admission Scope: In 2023 and 2022 the JoSAA closing rank for round 6 were 55861 and 58163. Therefore, the expected JEE Main 2024 closing rank for the General category will be around 55000. This means that if the candidates will secure 20000 rank in the JEE Main 2024 exam, then there is a fair chance of getting admission to the CSE program of the NIT Agartala. 

NIT Delhi CSE admission Scope: Based on the JoSAA Round 6 counselling, the NIT Delhi CSE closing rank was 13205 and 13750 in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Hence, it can be assumed that the candidates who will secure 13000 rank in the JEE Main 2024 exam, can get admission to the NIT Delhi CSE program. For the same, the candidates should obtain 98 percentile or more in the JEE Main exam. Also, if the candidates will secure a 15000 rank in the JEE Main exam, then the chances of getting admission to NIT Delhi are very low. However, if the available number of seats to the college will increase, then there is a chance of securing a seat in CSE to NIT Delhi. Apart from that, the candidates can also take admission to other programs such as ECE, EE, and ME with a 15000 rank.

NIT Surathkal CSE admission Scope: The Engineering department of NIT Surathkal, Karnataka is at the 12th rank in terms of the NIRF 2023 ranking. CSE is the most desired program amongst all at the college. Consequently, the competition to secure a seat to this college at their most desirable program is always been very high. Also, the accepted JEE Main cutoff rank to this college is lower than the other NITs. For instance, the JEE Main closing ranks were 3406 and 2957 at the JoSAA round 6 counselling in 2023 and 2022 respectively. This clearly indicates that the candidates who will secure 3500 rank (not more than that) in JEE Main 2024 exam, can get admission to the NIT Karnataka CSE program. For the same, the candidates should obtain 99.5 percentile or more.

MNNIT Allahabad CSE admission Scope: As per the JoSAA round 6 counselling data, the closing ranks of MNNIT Allahabad CSE admission were 5876 and 5627 in 2023 and 2022 respectively, for the general category students. Therefore, it can be expected that the candidates, whose ranks will be around 5000+, can get a seat to the MNNIT Allahabad College for the CSE program. For the same, the candidates should obtain 99 percentile or more in the JEE Main 2024 exam. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the candidates who will secure 8000 rank in the exam, will find it a bit difficult to get admission to the CSE program of the MNNIT Allahabad. In such a case, the candidates can apply for the ECE, EE, or ME program at MNNIT Allahabad, which accepts comparatively lower percentile as well as the higher cutoff rank of the students.
