If you are planning to appear for the KCET 2026 exam, you must complete the registration and submit the application form before the prescribed deadline. As per the latest notification released on February 24, 2026, the SC category needs to obtain a new certificate (if not already) and add the RD (Registered Document) number to the KEA portal. Step 1 - New User Registration

  • Visit the official website of KEA or click on the direct link available on this page.
  • Click on the 'UGCET-2026 Online Application'. 
  • Select 'New User? Click here to register.'
  • Karnataka domicile students need to give their STATS ID numbers.
  • Enter the required information and click on 'Submit'.
  • You will receive an Application Number and User ID on your registered mobile number.
  • Create a password to proceed with form filling. 

Step 2 - Form Filling & Image Upload

  • You will have to log in by entering the User ID and Password.
  • Enter your Aadhar number and RD number compulsorily.
  • Fill the required 'Student Information' carefully and click on the 'Save' option.
  • Fill the required 'Education Details' and click on the 'Save and Next' option.
  • Upload the scanned images of your passport-size photograph, signature and left-index finger thumb impression.

Step 3 - Application Fee Payment

  • You can pay the application fee either online or by downloading the Challan copy.
  • If you are paying the fee online, you can do the same by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking.
  • If you have downloaded the challan copy, visit the nearest bank (bank name specified on the challan).
  • Pay the registration fee.
  • Collect the challan copy.

Step 4 - Printout of Application Form & Principal Signature

  • After the successful payment of the application fee, you will have to download the application form and take a printout of the same.
  • Affix (paste) the passport-size photograph on the printout of the application form (the photo should be the same as the uploaded one).
  • Sign on the application form along with a left-hand thumb impression.
  • The application form should be signed by the Principal of the College (2nd PUC) along with a seal.

You will have to carry the printout of the application form along with the hall ticket on the exam day.

Click on the 'Forgot Application ID' link and enter your registered mobile number and D.O.B. You will receive your application number through an SMS.
