List of IIT Colleges of India: 2021 NIRF Ranking, Seats, Admission Basis JEE Advanced

There are a total of 23 IIT colleges in India that offer B.Tech & M.Tech courses through JEE Advanced and GATE. IITs are considered as top engineering institutes in India and admission to UG courses in IIT colleges of India is done through JoSAA counselling.

Indian Institutes of Technology, popularly known as IITs are the most prestigious and top engineering institutes in the country. They are the autonomous institutes for higher education in the technical field and are most popular for the B.Tech courses that IITs offer. At present, there are 23 IITs in India that are governed by the Institute of Technology Act, 1961 - a common IT council.

As the JoSAA counselling 2021is underway, we thought that we will provide a list of top engineering colleges in India here so that you can perform well in your next engineering entrance exams 2021and get admission to the college of your choice. Getting through an IIT is not a cakewalk as the IIT admission process is highly competitive. Every year, thousands of candidates apply for the limited seats but only the best out of the lot get to live their dream of being a part of such prestigious institutions. For admission in IITs, candidates have to appear in IIT entrance exam in two levels - Joint Entrance Exam: JEE Main and JEE Advanced. It is mandatory to qualify in both the exams to compete for seats and specialisation preferences which is conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). A total of 23 IITs in the country offer a variety of courses ranging from the B.Tech level to the Doctoral programmes. While admission to B.Tech courses is based on JEE exam, admission to the M.Tech programmes is on the basis of the GATE exam. Dear student, 

GNA University offers B.Tech courses in 13 different specialisations. The annual fee of the courses varies from INR 1.48 Lacs to INR 1.66 Lacs. The programmes are offered in a regular mode and candidates are selected for the course on merit basis.
