DU PhD Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a PhD degree at Delhi University, New Delhi, candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have cleared the UGC-NET (including JRF)/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship or have passed the M.Phil. program with at least 55% marks. Candidates with a professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWA with a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible to apply. Furthermore, candidates must meet any additional eligibility criteria specified by the respective department or faculty at Delhi University.
