DU Cut off 2023: Delhi University has released the round 2 DU UG spot admission cut off on the official website of CSAS. Further, the DU UG sports quota cut off 2023 has also been made available for the students. The DU NCWEB cut off 2023 for round three is also available in online mode. Additionally, the DU BTech cut off list for round 3 has been released based on the JEE Main scores achieved by the students.

Unlike prior years, the University of Delhi does not publish percentage-based cutoff scores for class 12. Instead, the DU cutoff is issued in the form of seat allotment lists that include the names and contact information of the selected candidates. The Delhi University cut-off 2023 for various UG and PG degrees is based on CUET UG and CUET PG scores.

Factors Affecting DU Cut off

The following factors are the prime reasons why Delhi University cutoff varies annually:

  • Total number of seats available for admission
  • Category of the candidate applying for
  • Course or college chosen by a candidate. For example, DU Ramjas College cut off varies in comparison to DU Hansraj College cut off.
  • DU Previous year cut-off marks.
  • Difficulty level of the CUET examination for UG and PG courses.

Hello Vani,

For DU admission 2023, to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, candidates have to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam. Delhi University UG admission will consider CUET UG scores, while PG admissions will consider CUET PG scores. Candidates willing for admission have to show up for the appropriate exams.

Candidates who pass the entrance exam then must register on Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) webpage in order to receive details on seat allocations. Multiple rounds of seat allocation are conducted using the CSAS platform. The combination of the chosen college/ university and programme, the candidate's rank on the merit list, the candidate's category (UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC), and the availability of seats are some of the few variables that affect seat distribution at Delhi University. There are around 69,554 seats available at DU, 3,291 of which are designated for the sports quota.
