How to Use This Scholarship List for Your BBA Application?

Now that it’s time you apply for your BBA course , here’s how you need to use your scholarships:

  • Check your institution’s recognition

You need to make sure your BBA college is recognised (UGC/AICTE). Also, check if the course is “regular” (not distance/correspondence). It’s because most schemes exclude non-regular modes.

  • Ensure your personal eligibility

You need to check your qualification for the income limit, gender (for female-only schemes), disability (for special schemes), and domicile (for the NE region scheme).

  • Application timing

These schemes operate annually. Applications via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or respective scheme portals often open mid-year with deadlines around October/November. For example, the CSSS 2025 deadline was 31 Oct.

  • Documents

Board mark sheets, admission proof to BBA, income certificate, identity/ID proof, disability certificate (if applicable), and the institution’s recognisation status are some documents you need for the scholarship.

  • Renewal

Most scholarships require you to renew each year. You will have to maintain a level of academic performance for that. For example, CSSS guidelines mention passing subjects/maintaining marks.

There are officially endorsed scholarships for BBA students in India. While not every scheme will be specific to “BBA only”, there are a number of general undergraduate programmes that cover BBA. You can also avail of additional schemes (girls-only or region-specific). These will widen your options. You should explore these schemes early if you’re a BBA aspirant or student. Please ignore the previous answer To apply for an MBA at Lovely Professional University, you can use your LPUNEST score or scores from national exams like CAT to meet eligibility or qualify for scholarships.
