Central University of Jharkhand UG Admission 2022 through CUET: Dates, Application Process, Courses Wise Eligibility, Admission Process

The Central University of Jharkhand has started the admission process on September 20, 2022 for various UG courses through CUET 2022. The candidates willing to take admission into various UG courses under the Central University of Jharkhand, must visit the official website to fill and submit the application form. The last date to fill the application form is 25th September 2022. After the registration gets over, the merit list will be released by the official authorities and the program-wise merit list will be released on September 27th, 2022. 

The application fee to apply for the Central University of Jharkhand are as follows - for UR/OBC/EWS  category the amount to be paid is Rs 800/-, for SC/ST category is Rs 400/- and for DAP (PwD)/female candidates is Rs 200/-. The University offers 23 integrated courses through CUET 2022 Exam. The courses offered in the engineering stream are Integrated B.Tech and M Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Integrated B.Tech and M Tech in Civil Engineering, and Integrated B.Tech and M Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. The University also offers 7 Science Stream courses and they are Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Geography, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Geology, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Environmental Science, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Life Sciences, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Physics, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Mathematics, and Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Chemistry. 

The Central University of Jharkhand offers 16 integrated courses in arts streams and 1 course in commerce and they are Integrated BA and MA in Mass Communication,  Integrated B.A and M.A in English, Integrated B.A and M.A in Hindi, Integrated B.A and M.A in Korean, Integrated BA, and MA in Chinese, Integrated B.A and M.A in Anthropology, Integrated B.A and M.A in Political Science, Integrated B.A and M.A in Economics, Integrated BA and MA in History, Integrated BA and MA in Sociology, Integrated BA and MA in Philosophy, and Integrated B.Com and M.Com in Commerce.  In order to take admission into any of these above-mentioned integrated courses, aspirants must take qualify in CUET 2022 and fulfill all the eligibility criteria specified by the university and the National Testing Agency.

Central University of Jharkhand CUET 2022 Application Process

The Central University of Jharkhand`s CUET 2022 admission application process has been initiated as the CUET 2022 results are declared and the admission form of CUJ is out and is available on the official website of the university. Candidates who have qualified in CUET 2022 are eligible for the integrated courses offered by CUJ. Students after filling up the admission form will be intimated for attending the counselling process.  The Central University of Jharkhand will look after the other admission proceedings.

Listed below is the important instruction for the Central University of Jharkhand UG admission 2022:

  • The candidates must try to fill the application form as soon as possible or at least on or before the deadline that is September 25th, 2022.
  • In any case, if the candidates  do not fill the registration form then they will not be allowed to sit for the counselling process under any circumstances. 
  • The candidate must ensure that the email id and mobile number should be correctly entered during the form filling process as it will be used for the further mode of communication.
  • The application fees should be paid from the candidate’s account or from their family members' accounts because the amount will be credited in the same account from which the fee has been paid in case of refund.
  • Any information provided in the form should be correct and should match the information given in the 10th marks sheet.
  • The candidates who are already registered can use the same registered email address to login into the admission portal. 
  • The candidate has to use the  updated version of chrome for filing out the registration form  for the Central University of Jharkhand UG Admission 2022.

Candidates, who would like to pursue their under graduation in the Central University of Jharkhand, should fulfill the eligibility criteria of CUJ. The course-wise eligibility criteria of the Central University of Jharkhand that are offered by CUET 2022 are provided below.

  • Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Aspirants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Class – 12.
  • The minimum percentage required for the General category is 45% or equivalent grade.
  • For SC/ST/OBC and PWD categories of students, the required percentage of marks is 40% or an equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

  • Students interested to apply for the course, must have qualified in Intermediate (Class-12) from a recognized board.
  • Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry are mandatory subjects that they should have studied in Class- 12.
  • General category students must have a minimum of 45% of marks or equivalent grade.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 40% or an equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering                                      

  • Aspirants should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their Class – 12.
  • The minimum percentage required for the General category is 45% or equivalent grade.
  • For SC/ST/OBC and PWD categories of students, the required percentage of marks is 40% or an equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering

  • Students, who would like to apply for the course, should have qualified in Intermediate (Class-12) from a recognized board.
  • Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry are mandatory subjects that they should have studied in Class- 12.
  • General category students must have a minimum of 45% of marks or equivalent grade.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 40% or an equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Geography

  • Aspirants for the course must have qualified in 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream from a recognized board.
  • Candidates of the General category must have 50% of marks in the qualifying exam, in the case of the reserved categories, they must have 45% of marks or equivalent grade.
  • Candidates, who have studied Mathematics, will be given preference.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Geology

  • Candidates should be qualified in 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream from a recognized board, in order to apply for the course.
  •  The minimum and required percentage of marks for the General Category is 50% whereas, for the reserved categories, it is 45% or equivalent grade.
  • Candidates with Mathematics will be given preference.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Environmental Studies

  • Candidates must have qualified in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology , or Mathematics.
  • General category students must have a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC- NCL) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Life Sciences

  • Students interested to apply for the course, must have qualified in Intermediate (Class-12) from a recognized board.
  • Biology or Biotechnology, Physics, and Chemistry are mandatory subjects that they should have studied in Class- 12.
  • General category students must have a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Physics

  • Students interested to apply for the course, must have qualified in Intermediate (Class-12) in Science Stream with Physics as a compulsory or optional subject.
  • General and EWS category students must have a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in  Mathematics

  • Candidates must have qualified in 10+2 in Science Stream with Mathematics as a compulsory or optional subject.
  • General and EWS category students must have a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc in Chemistry

  • Candidates should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Aspirants should have studied Chemistry either as one of the main subjects or optional subjects with the combination of Physics/ Biology/ Mathematics/ Geology/Computer Science in their Class – 12.
  • General and EWS category students must have a minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Mass Communication

  • Aspirants in order to apply for the course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Candidates of the General category should have obtained 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 45% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in English

  • Students must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Aspirants of the +General category should have obtained 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Hindi

  • Aspirants in order to apply for the course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.

  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 45% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Korean

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Aspirants of the General category should have obtained 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Chinese

  • Aspirants in order to apply for the course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Candidates of the General category should have obtained 55% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 50% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Anthropology

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Aspirants of the General category should have obtained 45% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Sociology

  • Aspirants in order to apply for the course must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Candidates of the General category should have obtained 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 4 5% or equivalent grade.

Integrated B.A and M.A in Philosophy

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline.
  •  Aspirants of the General category should have obtained 45% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.
  • The minimum percentage of marks that candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) must have is 40% or an equivalent grade.

Integrated B.Com and M.Com in Commerce

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with commerce/Economics/Maths/Computer Science/ Finance/Financial Market/Management as one of the subjects.
  •  Aspirants of the General category should have obtained 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate.                                                               

Central University of Jharkhand CUET 2022 Admission Process

Central University of Jharkhand CUET 2022 admission process has begun as the result of Common University Entrance Test 2022 is announced on September 16, 2022. The qualified candidates of CUET 2022 must fill in the admission form of CUJ for the admissions to the courses offered by CUJ through CUET. Initially qualified candidates must fill in the admission form, which is available on the official website of the University. After the submission of the admission form, the Central University of Jharkhand will release a merit list on the official portal.  Candidates whose names reflect in the merit list are eligible for admission. Next, candidates should attend the counselling process on the already mentioned dates. This will be followed by paying off the course fee and attending the classes.
