The Council of the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the Class 12th Commerce exam successfully on February 27, 2026. The exam was held for 3 hours, from 2:00 PM to 5 PM. ISC Class 12 Commerce Passing Marks 2026

ISC Class 12 Commerce students are required to get a minimum of 40% marks in each subject including core subjects like Commerce, Economics, Business Studies, or Accountancy (theory and practical combined). Along with that, they also have to get an overall aggregate of at least 35%. It is to be noted that, passing in English (40 marks out of 100) is mandatory along with three other elective subjects. If anyone fails in one or two subjects, he/she can appear for compartment exams.

ISC Class 12 Marksheet 2026

On successfully passing the ISC Class 12 exam 2026, students will be provided with an original ISC Class 12 Marksheet 2026. The original marksheet will be provided by the respective schools within a few days of the result declaration. Students can expect the original ISC 12th marksheet 2026 in the last week of April 2026/ first week of May 2026. ISC Class 12 Grading System 2026

Based on their performance, students will be awarded grades between grade 1 and 9, where grade 1 indicates the highest and grade 9 is the lowest. ISC Class 12 internal assessments use a letter-based A-E grading system to evaluate projects, practicals, and ongoing work. In the ISC Class 12 grading system, Grades 1-6 indicate a pass with credit, Grade 7 is a pass, Grade 8 is a pass, though it is not shown on certificates, and Grade 9 signifies failure. ISC 12th Toppers List 2026

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has discontinued releasing the ISC Class 12 toppers list since 2023 to avoid unhealthy competition and reduce stress among students. This year will not be different. However, the Council will release overall result statistics, gender-wise result statistics, along with other information. Unofficial toppers based on 90%-95% scorers will be announced by respective schools. We will also share the names of the students who will score above 95% marks based on the unofficial list. Note that there will be no negative marking for any wrong answers or for the unattempted questions. Section B has 8 questions, which are short answer questions, where each question carries 4 marks. In Section C, there are four questions, which are long answer questions. Each question carries 8 marks. Internal choices have been provided in two questions in Section B and in one question in Section C. Section A does not have any internal choices.
