JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Difficulty Level

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Difficulty Level: The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Main 2024 exam Session 1 from January 24 to February 1, 2024 and the Session 2 exams will be conducted from April 3, 2024 onwards. The authorities usually maintain a standard level of difficulty for both the sessions of the exam for each day. A proper comprehension of the difficulty level of session 1 JEE main 2024 will assist the candidates who will be appearing for session 2 exam to know what to prepare for and also understand the level of questions for each paper. Session 1 JEE Main 2024 Difficulty Level

Candidates who have appeared for session 1 of JEE Main 2024 can check the Session 1 Difficulty Level of JEE Main 2024 here mentioned in the below table. JEE Main 2024 Difficulty Level of Session 1 - B.Arch and B.Plan Paper

Paper 2A and Paper 2B of JEE Main 2024 was conducted on January 24, 2024 only in the single shift i.e. from 3 PM to 6 PM. The B.Arch paper i.e. Paper 2A consisted of 82 questions from Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing. The Mathematics and Aptitude Test is a computer based exam, however, the drawing test is conducted in the offline mode. Paper 2B, i.e. B.Plan consisted of 105 questions from Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning Based Questions.

Overall Paper 2 had a difficulty of moderate level.

  • Mathematics - Easy to Moderate.

The Mathematics section was of easy to moderate level of difficulty. Few of the questions were easy while some with numerical questions were a bit tricky to handle. Questions were asked from Coordinate Geometry and Vector Algebra

  • Aptitude - Easy to Moderate

This section of the Aptitude Test was easy with questions on patterns and sequence.

  • Drawing Test - Moderate to Difficult

The Drawing test posed challenges for the students with questions testing their technical skills and creative interpretation.

  • Mathematics - Easy to Moderate

Mathematics section was of easy to moderate level of difficulty. Few of the questions were easy while some with numerical questions were a bit tricky to handle.

  • Aptitude - Easy to Moderate

This section of Aptitude Test was easy with questions on spatial reasoning, visualisation and mental ability.

  • Planning Test - Moderate to Tough

Questions were asked from general awareness and social sciences. There were questions from Thinking Skills as well.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Difficulty Level - B.E. / B.Tech Paper

This section comprises mainly Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry consisting of 75 questions in total. Candidates have to solve 25 questions from each section and the total marks allotted to this paper is 300. The National Testing Agency has conducted Paper 1 on January 27, 2024 in both shifts. The authorities will conduct Paper 1 exam on January 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2024 respectively in two shifts as well.   • Mathematics - Moderate to Difficult Level
  • Physics - Moderate Level
  • Chemistry - Easy to Moderate Level
  • Mathematics - This section was on the difficult side with questions being asked from Vector 3D, Trigonometry, Differential Equations and Sequence and Series
  • Physics - The Physics section was considered moderate level for the students. Questions were mainly asked from modern physics, ray optics, semiconductors, current electricity, rotational motion and inertia
  • Chemistry - Out of all 3 papers, Chemistry was most balanced and as per the students the paper was in the range of easy to moderate. Questions were mainly asked from inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry.
  • Mathematics - This section was on the moderate level where questions were not tricky but it was lengthy. Questions were asked from integration, application of derivatives, vectors and 3D and conic sections.
  • Physics - This section was easy and most of them were either theory based or formula based. Questions were mainly asked from modern physics, KTG, mechanics and thermodynamics
  • Chemistry - Chemistry section were of moderate level and most questions were concept based. Questions were mostly asked from block chemistry, aromatic compounds and biomolecules.
