Kerala University UG Admission 2024 Application Process
The University of Kerala releases the application form for the Undergraduate courses very soon. The application form is made available on the official portal of Kerala University. The step-by-step process of filling out the Kerala University application form for Undergraduate admissions is provided below.
Step-1 Registration
- Visit the official portal of Kerala University at http://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in.
- Click on the option called "Click here for Registration" that is available on the UG page.
- Enter all the details asked like Exam Board, Register Number, Year of Passing, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Email id etc.
- Click on Submit option.
- Candidates will receive the application number and the password will be the date of birth by default.
- Application number and Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy) will be login credentials to complete the entire application process.
Step-2 Fee Payment
- Candidates must pay the registration fee by using the online payment facility.
- The registration fee for the General Category is Rs. 500/- and for SC/ST candidates the amount is Rs. 250/-
- No other mode of payment is accepted, except online payment.
- Keep the payment receipt safe.
- Applicant must click on the “Save and Continue” option to save the entered information and for completing the further registration process
Step-3 Candidate Personal Profile Registration
- Applicants must enter their personal details in this step.
- The details like Name, DoB, Gender, Keralite, Nationality Contact Number, Communication Address, and so on.
- Candidates must click on the “Save and Continue” option to save the entered information and for completing the further registration process
Step-4 Academic Profile Registration
- Applicants must enter their academic details.
- Candidates should enter qualifying examination marks and other details of academics in this step.
- Details entered should be genuine and accurate.
- Applicants should not leave out any details without entering.
- Applicants must click on the “Save and Continue” option to save the entered information and for completing the further registration process
Step-5 Uploading the Required Documents
- Applicants must upload the required documents.
- The photograph and Signature of the applicant should be scanned and uploaded.
- The size of the Photograph and Signature of the candidate should not exceed 40KB.
- The files should be in JPG format only.
- Candidates must click on the “Save and Continue” option to save the entered information and for completing the further registration process
Step-6 Verify the Application
- Applicants must cross-check all the details entered before submitting the application form.
- If applicants find something is to be corrected, edited, or modified, they can do it immediately.
- After verifying all the details, they can submit the application form.
Step-7 Print out the Application form
- After submitting the application form, it is mandatory for the students to take one or two printouts of the application form.
- Preserve the application form for the next rounds of the admission process.
Kerala University UG Admission 2024 Seat Allotment
- The University of Kerala follows the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for the UG Admissions.
- Seat allotment is purely based on merit, which is nothing, but marks obtained in Higher Secondary examination.
- Kerala University will publish the trial allotment to the candidates before the conclusion of the registration process.
- The trial allotment will give an idea to the candidate of the chances of getting admission.
- The Trail allotment is based on the options registered by the applicants.
- Candidates must note that the Trail allotment does not guarantee admission to the candidates.
- After the trial allotment, candidates will be given time to change their options after that the first admission list will be released.
- The first round of seat allotment will be published as per the official notification of the University of Kerala.
- The candidates, who secure seats in the first round of seat allotment, must pay the university fee to confirm their seat and the candidates who fail to remit the fee in time will not be considered for the further round of admission.
- Candidates, who remit the University fee in time, are only eligible for cancelling the seat or opting for the higher/ better options.
- After that, the second round of seat allotment will be released.
- Candidates must download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college along with the required documents.
