Manipur University UG Admission through CUET 2024: Manipur University will start the process for UG admissions 2024 through CUET. CUET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The UG courses offered by Manipur University through CUET 2024 exam are B.Voc. in Food Processing and Quality Management, B.Voc. In Retail Management and Foreign Trade, B.Voc. in Hospitality Management, B.A. (Hons) in Korea, B.A. in Music, and B.A. in Hindustani Music.Manipur University is a popular Central University situated in Imphal in the state of Manipur, India. It was established in the year 1980. When it was established, it was just a teaching cum affiliating University. It was converted into a Central University in the year 2005. The Manipur University now has 116 affiliated colleges the number including two medical colleges. Manipur University UG Admission 2024 through CUET Application Process

The students can apply at Manipur University for admission through CUET after qualifying CUET 2024 entrance examination. The students must follow the stepwise application process for filling the registration form for taking admission for the applied courses at Manipur University. The different steps to apply at Manipur University UG admission through CUET 2024 are given below. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Manipur University at http://manipurunivcuet.samarth.edu.in.  for online registration.

Step 2: Click on ‘New Registration’ on the home page of the official website. Those who are already registered with Manipur University for admission through CUET can login directly by entering the CUET application number and password. 

Step 3: The first time user will have to opt for ‘New Registration’ and a new tab will be opened and students will be redirected to student’s registration form. 

Step 4:  Students can register by entering CUET Application number and date of birth as mentioned in class Xth marks sheet. They will have to verify captcha for completing the registration form.  The students can register by entering all the relevant details such as Name, Age, Gender, Father’s and Mother’s Name, Email Id and Mobile number. 

Step 5: The students can login to the admission portal of Manipur University through their registered email address only. It is suggested that the students must use their active email address throughout the process of admission for all communication processes.

Step 6: They must fill in the personal and academic information and submit documents as per the given specifications on the website. The student must furnish all the information correctly as the same will be verified during the admission process. If any discrepancy will be there in the information provided in the registration form, then their candidature for admission will be cancelled.

Step 7: The students must pay the application fee in order to complete the process of registration and submit the application form. 

Step 8: Download the application form, fee receipts and take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.Voc in Food Processing and Quality Management

• Candidates should be qualified in 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University.

• Candidates, who have completed their intermediate or Class- XII in any stream, are eligible.

• Candidates should have secured minimum qualifying marks in the examination.

• Candidates seeking admission for this group must write a General Test in CUET.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.Voc in Retail Management and Foreign Trade

• Students must be qualified in 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University.

• The qualified aspirants of Class- XII of any stream are eligible to apply for the course.

• Students must have secured minimum qualifying marks in the examination.

• Students must write and qualify the General Test of CUET in order to become eligible for the course.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.Voc in Hospitality Management

• Aspirants should be qualified in 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University.

• Aspirants, who have completed their intermediate or Class- XII in any stream, are eligible.

• Aspirants should have secured minimum qualifying marks in the examination.

• Aspirants must appear for the General Test in CUET.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.A. (Hons) in Korean

•  Must be qualified in class- XII (10+2) examination from any recognized board.

•  Should have acquired at least 45% of marks in the examination.

• Should appear for the General Test and should secure 50% of marks in both General and Practical Language.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Dance

• Should have qualified in Class- XII (10+2) examination or Senior School Certificate examination in any stream from any recognized board or Council or University.

• Must have acquired the basic knowledge of Dance /Sankritana/Marital Arts  (Thang-ta) with a minimum of three years Foundation Certificate or Course Certificate from a recognized school or college or university or institution sponsored by State or Central Government.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Dance

• Should have qualified in Class- XII (10+2) examination or Senior School Certificate examination in any stream from any recognized board or Council or University.

• Must have acquired the basic knowledge of Dance /Sankritana/Marital Arts  (Thang-ta) with a minimum of three years Foundation Certificate or Course Certificate from a recognized school or college or university or institution sponsored by State or Central Government.

• Should appear for the General Test and Practical Test of CUET and must secure at least of 50% of marks.

MU Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Hindustani Music

• Must have qualified in Class- XII (10+2) examination or Senior School Certificate examination in any stream along with Music as a subject of study from any recognized board or Council or University.  Or

• Candidates who have been qualified in Class- XII (10+2) examination or Senior School Certificate examination in any stream without Music as a subject of study from any recognized board or Council or University are also eligible provided they should have qualified in any one of the following examination.

• A) Madhyama Examination of the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow.

• B) Three years Junior Diploma Examination of Banaras Hindu University, U.P.

• C) Senior Diploma Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad

• D) Madhyama Examination of A.B.G.M.V. Mandal, Mumbai

• E) Madhyama Examination of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh

• F) Any other equivalent examinations recognized by UGC. 

Manipur University UG Admission Process 2024

The UG admission process of Manipur University through CUET 2024 is detailed below.

• The first thing that the aspirants of Manipur University for Under Graduate admissions 2024 must fill in the application form of CUET 2024.

• CUET 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency.

• Candidates who will qualify in the entrance examination are entitled for the further round of admission.
