NLAT Result and Merit List

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) conducted NLAT on September 12, 2020, and the final answer key of NLAT 2020 was released on September 16, 2020. NLU Bangalore had stated that it will not accept Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores for selecting candidates for the upcoming year due to several reasons. However, the Supreme Court has now cancelled NLAT 2020 and NLSIU will conduct admissions through CLAT 2020.

Through NLAT 2020, NLSIU was planning to select candidates for its law programmes of both bachelor and masters level. NLAT UG was conducted for admission to the integrated law course of BA LL.B and the admissions of LL.M was to be done through NLAT PG. NLAT was conducted for the first time ever. NLAT 2020 Result

The NLAT 2020 result will not be declared because as per the recent events, the Supreme Court has cancelled NLAT 2020. It has stated that NLSIU will conduct its admissions on the basis of CLAT 2020, in the same way that it used to do in the previous years. Check the detailed news of NLAT 2020 cancellation here.

Initially, NLSIU has said that students who take the NLAT 2020 examination will be notified of their admission status via an email. The college will send the results of candidates through their respective emails. It said that the candidates will not be told their total NLAT 2020 score and the email will simply convey if they have been selected for admission or not.

NLAT 2020 Merit List

Since NLAT 2020 has been cancelled, the merit list of the exam will also not be generated. It was said earlier that the merit list of NLAT 2020 will be released after the result declaration but now NLAT has been quashed and NLSIU will not continue with any further engagements of the exam.
