UP M.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2023

• All candidates should either have a valid B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or a Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree, obtained from an institute registered with Indian Nursing Council (INC).

• All applicants must ensure that they have registered themselves as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Midwife in any State Medical Council in India.

• For those who carry a valid B.Sc Nursing degree, it is important they have one-year work experience after graduating from B.Sc Nursing as well. Meanwhile, applicants who graduated from P.B. B.Sc Nursing are required to have one-year work experience, gained either prior to pursuing the course or after graduating from the course.

• Reserved Category Candidates, i.e. SC/ST candidates, may be offered a 5% relaxation.

• Candidates should also ensure that they are medically fit. The University may conduct a medical checkup for the same. Once shortlisted in the merit list, candidates are required to present a certificate of physical fitness, issued by a registered practitioner.

Note:

KGMU Lucknow offers the course to both male and female aspirants of the course, however, Vivekanand College of Nursing Lucknow offers the course to female candidates alone.

UP M.Sc Nursing Application Process 2023

After ensuring that you qualify the necessary eligibility criteria for the courses, you will be able to complete the UP Lucknow M.Sc Nursing application process 2023. As per the guidelines mentioned by the University, the application process will be completed in online mode only. Interested applicants must follow the steps given below to complete the application process for M.Sc Nursing admission at KGMU Lucknow.

• Candidates are required to visit the official website of KGMU Lucknow, i.e. kgmu.edu.in/.

• For the admission process to begin, candidates should register themselves with the University, as specified by the university. This is required to generate a unique login ID and password, which will be used for further steps in the admission process

• Once Logged In, candidates must enter the requisite details, such as candidate name, address, communication and qualification details, along with other details asked by the University.

• Once all the information has been entered, it is advised to check all the information once and ensure that the details and correct and complete. Incorrect, false or incomplete application forms will be rejected without further notice by the University.

• Submit the application forms, once all the information has been entered.

• After submission of the forms, candidates will be asked to pay the application fee through either online or offline mode.

Note:

The Login ID and password that you created for the admission process will be used for downloading the admit card in the future. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep the Login ID and password in a safe place.

UP M.Sc Nursing Application Fee 2023

As part of the application process and an essential part of completing the process is completing the payment of the UP M.Sc Nursing application fee 2023. As per the guidelines outlined by the university, candidates will be able to complete the payment in both online and offline mode. Online Mode of Application Fee Payment

Candidates who opt for the online mode of payment for the KGMU application form fee will be required to pay the application fee prior to filling the application form. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee via the given payment gateway, through Credit/Debit Card (Master or Visa Card Only) or Netbanking.

Offline Mode of Payment for Application Form

Those candidates who opt for the offline mode of payment of the application form will be required to first make the payment at either an Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank by the stipulated time period. Here are the steps candidates will have to follow in order to complete the offline mode of payment of application form fee for KGMU M.Sc Nursing Admissions.

• Candidates must download the bank challan from the official website.

• After downloading the challan, candidates should deposit the money with the challan at any one of the Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank branch in India.

• Once deposited, the banks will provide the students with a receipt along with the transaction ID number.

• Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of the receipt and mention the transaction ID while filling in the application form.

• Candidates will be able to complete the application form, two days after the payment of the challan. For this, candidates are required to login in again to the website and complete the application form. Applicants must keep the scanned copy of the bank challan ready while filling in the application form.

The admissions to the M.Sc Nursing programme at the university or its affiliated college will be based on the entrance test conducted by KGMU Lucknow. Like other entrance tests, candidates are required to present an admit card prior to entering the examination hall. Candidates must use their Login ID and password at the official website of KGMU Lucknow, in order to download the UP M.Sc Nursing entrance exam admit card.

UP M.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam Pattern 2023

Here is what you need to know about the UP Lucknow M.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam Pattern 2023.

The exam will be conducted by King George’s Medical University Lucknow. Candidates are to reach the exam centre at the stipulated time period with the necessary documents such as the Admit Card. Candidates must also ensure that they abide by the UP M.Sc Nursing Exam Day rules and regulations.

Candidates should ensure that they have reached the exam centre an hour prior to attempting the exam. As per the guidelines, the seating process for the exam will begin 30 minutes prior to the exam and end 15 minutes after students are seated in the exam halls.

 After the results are released, a merit list of all the shortlisted students will also be released. As per the merit list, candidates will be further called for a counselling process, through which the students will be selected for the courses and the college as well.

King George’s Medical University Lucknow will conduct 2 rounds of counselling on the stipulated time period. Those students who receive a seat at the college in the course of their choice will be asked to pay a security deposit of ₹5,000.
