Dear Sohail Imtiyaj Khan,

Unfortunately, IIT Bombay does not offer any lateral entry programme for B.Tech. IIT Bombay admissions to the B.Tech programme are made through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) exam. However, IIT Bombay does offer a dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) programme in some departments, and students who have completed a diploma in engineering from a recognised institute are eligible to apply for admission to the second year of the dual degree program through the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam.

Hello Sarmistha, yes, you can opt for M.Des in Graphic Designing at IIT Bombay even if you have done a BCA as your UG course. Your minimum marks in the final year should be higher than 55% marks, a portfolio of your work and qualified the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED). The CEED is a national level entrance exam for admission to M.Des programs in Design conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID).
