For Admission in B.Tech

IIT Bombay provides B.Tech degree in nine different specializations. The Candidates who are seeking admission in IIT Bombay has to clear both JEE-Main as well as JEE-Advanced. The final Selection shall be based on the candidate 12th result & JEE score followed by the counseling.

Indian Institute of Technology B.Tech Admission 2019

  • The applicants must have scored at least 75% marks in their 12th Examination from any recognized board.
  • And for SC/ST applicants, there will be the relaxation of 5% would be given.

For Admission in M.Tech

In IIT Bombay, Master of Technology(M.tech) is provided in 32 different specializations. For the admission, candidates should have qualified the GATE Exam. There will be no written test or interview for the candidates who qualified the GATE examination. And For the candidates who do not have a valid GATE score will be called for written test/interview.

Indian Institute of Technology M.Tech Admission 2019

  • Candidates with First class or 60% (55% marks for SC/ST) marks in B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering) .

  • Candidate having an B.Tech. Degree from IITs and having a CGPA/CPI score of 8.00 (on 0-10 scale) and above are exempted from requirement of GATE qualification. They may be admitted to M.Tech. Programme under TA/RA positions through written test and/or interview.

    

For Admission in B.Tech+M.Tech

The IIT Bombay also provide 5 years Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Tech programme in various specializations. In IIT Bombay the admission is through the JEE-Advanced. Interested Candidate can apply for the programme.

Indian Institute of Technology B.Tech+M.Tech Admission 2019

For Admission in MSc

The admission for Master of science is based on the JAM Entrance Exam. Candidates who qualify the JAM 2018 are eligible to apply for admission through JAM 2018. Applicants can apply for Admission based on JAM 2018 only through the online application process. The application fee for the admission is Rs. 600/- for all applicants and is non-refundable. The number of seats reserved under various categories in each of the programmes covered under JAM 2018

Indian Institute of Technology MSc Admission 2019

Minimum Qualification :

  • Candidate should have a bachelor degree in the desired qualification.
  • Candidate should meet the minimum mark requirement.

Qualifying Exam :

  • JAM

For Admission in BSc

B.Sc admission is also through JEE-Advanced. It offers specializations in three different departments .

1.) BSc Chemistry

2.) BSc Economics ( Started in the year 2017–18 )

3.) BSc Mathematics ( Started in 2018–19)

The 4-year curriculum intends to build a foundation while encouraging students to seek further interests in the second half of the programme.

Indian Institute of Technology BSc Admission 2019

The minimum academic qualification for IIT Bombay is that the candidate should have clear JEE advance and the final examination of 10+2 from any recognized university or its equivalent.

 

For Admission in M.Phil

Admission for M.Phil. Programme with specialization in Planning and Development is through MET exam. Total number of Seats for M.Phil is Around 24 (Including seats reserved for OBC-NC, SC, ST and PwD candidates). Candidates who are successful in the MET written exam are called for the interviews.

For Admission in B.Des+M.Des

The admission to the B.Des+ M.Des. programme is through UCEED 2019. Only  UCEED qualified students can apply for the admission at IIT Bombay

Indian Institute of Technology B.Des+M.Des Admission 2019

Candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCM from any recognized university.

For Admission in M.Des

Candidates who qualify the CEED 2019 and meet the eligibility criteria of the individual stream can apply for the admission to M.Des. in various streams. Candidates who wish to apply have to fill online Application Form plus the fees have to be paid online.

The candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the qualifying examination as mentioned overleaf for individual streams.

For Admission in B.Des

The admission to the B.Des programme is through UCEED 2019. Only UCEED qualified students can apply for the admission at IIT Bombay.The common application form is available through the IIT Bombay Admissions Portal.

  • Candidate should have done graduation from any recognized University.
  • Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their score in the CAT exam.
  • 5 % Relaxation in criteria for SC/ST candidates may be as per the Institute rules.

For Admission in BSc+MSc

B.Sc + M.Sc admission is also through  JEE-Advanced.

Indian Institute of Technology BSc+MSc Admission 2019

The candidates should have passed  10+2 or an equivalent Examination from any recognized Board/ University with at least five subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
