Joint Admission Process (JAP) for Four Leading IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, and Tiruchirappalli have announced the launch of the Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026 for MBA admissions, marking a significant step towards collaborative excellence in management education. IIM Raipur will serve as the coordinator for JAP 2026, overseeing the admission process for all four participating IIMs. This joint initiative showcases the commitment of these premier institutions to deliver a transparent, aspirant-focused admission experience that upholds the high standards of the IIM brand.

The CAP 2026 selection process is based on CAT cutoff percentiles, work experience, and academic performance. For the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT), the cutoff percentiles were maintained at 95 for General category candidates, 66 for SC, and 42 for ST/PwD. Eight IIMs took part in this year's CAP round to shortlist deserving candidates. Before the interviews, the CAP 2026 slot booking window was kept open until February 3, 2025. What is the Lowest CAT Cutoff for IIMs? The lowest CAT Cut off for IIM ranges from 90 to 95 percentile accepted by new or baby IIMs like IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, etc., among others. MBA Fees in India can range from roughly INR 15,000 to INR 35 lakh. The tuition fees at government colleges have been observed to be lower when compared to those at private MBA institutions. This is because they receive financial aid from the state or the central government to conduct their MBA programs. Notably, the top MBA colleges in India are the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) where the MBA fees range from INR 17,30,000 to INR 27,00,000. There are variations in course fees even among the IIMs, for instance, the fee for the PGP program at IIM Sirmaur is INR 17,50,000, while the MBA course fee at IIM Ahmedabad is INR 26,10,000 lakh.
