    NIFT Situation Test 2023 Previous Year Questions

    National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts a three-phased entrance exam every year for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. After qualifying the NIFT Written Entrance Exam, once must take a Situation Test. On February 5, 2023, Sunday, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will hold written exams for NIFT Entrance Exam 2023. The written tests include the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). Candidates who pass NIFT 2023 written test will be summoned to take the NIFT Situation Test 2023.

    NIFT Situation Test 2023 will be required of the candidates who pass both tests. In the NIFT Situation Test, the interviewer will assess the candidates' interpersonal abilities, communication skills, subject-matter expertise, approach to problem-solving, originality of ideas, and topic clarity. The candidate will be evaluated for the NIFT interview based on their general personality, subject knowledge, and skill.

    A situation test is conducted only for BDes courses to assess the candidates’ ability to handle various materials and use their creative skills to create a model in a given situation using a set of materials. The model will be judged on a number of factors such as innovative and creative use of given material, space visualization, construction skill, the finesse of the model, composition of elements, colour scheme, the overall presentation of the model, etc.

    National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the most prestigious design institutes in the nation. The institute refreshes its reservation policy and seat matrix each year and updates them as per the requirement. In 2019, all the campuses of NID had 100 seats for the B.Des programme.
