How to Apply for SET 2020

Candidates are required to register online for SET on the official website in order to appear for the test. To complete the registration process, candidates must fill up the online application form of the preferred institute for preferred programme before the end date of the application process.

You may register for one paper in the morning (for example, Law or Design), and the other in the afternoon session (for example, Engineering, General or Health Sciences).

Registration

  • Visit the official website of SET and click on the 'Registration' link 

  • Before proceeding with registration read all the instructions carefully.

  • Enter your login credentials details such as email ID and phone number and Click on “Save and Continue”.

  • After the successful registration, login SET ID and password will be sent to the registered email address.

Filling of the Application Form:

In this step, the candidate will have to enter the following details in the SET application form:

  • Personal details

  • Educational details

  • Address

  • Course opted for admission

  • Exam Centre

Uploading of images:

  • After providing all basic the details, candidates must upload their latest scanned photograph in the required format and size prescribed by the University.

Payment of Fees:

The Application Fee is INR 1750/-. The application fee of SET can be paid in both online and offline mode. 

Online Mode:

  • The candidate may pay via Billdesk Payment Gateway, Indian Bank Payment Gateway or Easebuzz Payment Gateway. Pay an amount of Rs 1750 for one test and Rs 3500 for two tests.

Offline Mode :

  • For offline payment, the candidate needs to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1750 for one test (morning or afternoon) and Rs 3500 for two tests (one from the morning session and the other from the afternoon session).

  • This shall be paid from any Nationalised Bank which shall be payable at Pune in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat".

  • While on the "Make Payment" tab, choose the mode of payment as "DD payment". Print out of the same must be taken, details filled in, signed and sent to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) to the following address:

Confirmation Page :

  • Candidate must take a printout of the filled SET application form for future references.
  • A confirmation mail will be sent to the candidate upon payment and only after the receipt of the payment, the applicant will be able to view the Admit Card.

Note: 

  • The fee paid for SET is non-refundable. 
  • The candidate must make sure that the payment process is completed before the closing date of payment of the respective course.
  • In case of disputes regarding payment, an email must be sent to registrar@siu.edu.in.
