Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya is participating in Yuva Sangam Phase III as a Nodal Centre in collaboration with IIIT Surat. This initiative is taken by the Indian Government under the program Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat to enhance interpersonal relationships among youth of the nation. The registrations for Phase III of Yuva Sangam 2023 will close on November 15, 2023. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 30, primarily students, volunteers for the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) or NSS, employed or self-employed individuals, etc.
Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya has signed an MoU with National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India on July 15, 2023 in order to contribute towards conserving and reviving the holy river Ganga. The main objective of signing the MoU is to develop a mutually-oriented relationship between NMCG and IIMBG in order to create awareness through various campaigns, workshops, logos, webinars, seminars, etc.
NMCG, an initiative by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, is a transformative project that works in the direction to rejuvenate the Ganga and its tributaries to keep Ganga healthier that will be beneficial for millions of people relying on Ganga for their livelihood and spiritual well-being. This collaboration will foster the greater exchange of information, joint research projects, and the establishment of a Ganga activity centre at the institute.

The MoU signing took place for approximately two hours and the event was graced with the presence of Prof. Vinita Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya along with 40 senior officers including IAS officers, senior civil servants, etc. Topics such as water harvesting, waste management, river rejuvenation, water conservation and many more were also discussed at the MoU signing event. Addressing the members present at the event, Prof. Vinita Sahay said “In addition to being preached about, issues like mindfulness and sustainability can also be worked on”. Further she also added “We have always been ambitious towards sustainability, and we will keep volunteering to come forward wherever young minds and energy is needed to do our best”. Shri G Asok Kumar, Director General of Namami Gange said "Business Schools have always been oriented towards making a profit, but I'm very happy and impressed that a business school like IIM Bodh Gaya is coming forward to focus on sustainability and mindfulness".
IIM Bodhgaya has always activitely participated in contributing towards the river rejuvenation efforts of the Ganga mission. One recent example is the nukkad natak (street play) that was organised at the Niranjana Falgu Parv by the the Pragati-CSR Committee of IIM Bodh Gaya on March 22, 2023.
