Joint Admission Process (JAP) for Four Leading IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, and Tiruchirappalli have announced the launch of the Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026 for MBA admissions, marking a significant step towards collaborative excellence in management education. IIM Raipur will serve as the coordinator for JAP 2026, overseeing the admission process for all four participating IIMs. This joint initiative showcases the commitment of these premier institutions to deliver a transparent, aspirant-focused admission experience that upholds the high standards of the IIM brand.

The CAP 2026 selection process is based on CAT cutoff percentiles, work experience, and academic performance. For the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT), the cutoff percentiles were maintained at 95 for General category candidates, 66 for SC, and 42 for ST/PwD. Eight IIMs took part in this year's CAP round to shortlist deserving candidates. Before the interviews, the CAP 2026 slot booking window was kept open until February 3, 2025. What is the Lowest CAT Cutoff for IIMs? The lowest CAT Cut off for IIM ranges from 90 to 95 percentile accepted by new or baby IIMs like IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, etc., among others. Apart from the overall CAT percentile, you also need to secure the CAT sectional cutoffs to become eligible for seeking MBA/PGDM admission to these prestigious IIMs. Usually, the CAT cutoffs at IIMs are very high, ranging from 98 to 100 percentile for older IIMs like Calcutta, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore etc. However, if you have obtained lower percentiles in the CAT exam, do not feel disheartened, since you can still secure admission to the baby IIMs where the cutoffs typically range from 92-94 percentile for the General Category, 74-76 percentile for OBC, 54-60 percentile for SC, 40 percentile for ST, and 35 percentile for PwD.

IIM Raipur Invites Applications for 2nd Batch of Senior Executive Development Program: The Indian Institute of Management Raipur has commenced the online registration process for the second batch of Senior Executive Development program- “Leadership at Peak”, which will start from June 2025. The last date of online registration is March 15, 2025. Before submitting the application form, the candidates should pay the online application fees of Rs 2,75,000+GST. Note, that the application fees can be paid in easy installments. Also, the applicants can choose the loan option for paying the registration fees. 

MBA Fees in India can range from roughly INR 15,000 to INR 35 lakh. The tuition fees at government colleges have been observed to be lower when compared to those at private MBA institutions. This is because they receive financial aid from the state or the central government to conduct their MBA programs. IIM CAT Result 2025: The IIM CAT Result 2025 is going to be declared shortly by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for almost 2.9 lakh aspirants who appeared for the exam on November 30. In line with the trends of previous years and considering the standard duration of the evaluation process, the CAT results are usually declared within 18-20 days after the examination, generally between 4 PM and 6 PM. Following this pattern, the IIM CAT 2025 result will be declared on or before December 19,  2025, and with a strong possibility that the results might be declared anytime after 5:00 PM.

MAT CBT Admit Card December 2025 Releasing Today: The MAT CBT December admit card 2025 for the CBT exam will be released today, December 18, 2025. Candidates who have completed their applications and have paid the application fee can download their admit cards from the official portal, using their login credentials- such as their email ID, date of birth, and password. All candidates must have their admit cards to take the MAT CBT 2025 examination. The admit card will include details such as the candidate's name, registration number, roll number, their photo, signature, exam date and time, the address of your exam centre, and instructions for the exam day.

For the Descriptive Test, a score in the range of 40–45 is generally considered good, while for the Aptitude section, a score of 20–25 is viewed as competitive.
