Joint Admission Process (JAP) for Four Leading IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, and Tiruchirappalli have announced the launch of the Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026 for MBA admissions, marking a significant step towards collaborative excellence in management education. IIM Raipur will serve as the coordinator for JAP 2026, overseeing the admission process for all four participating IIMs. This joint initiative showcases the commitment of these premier institutions to deliver a transparent, aspirant-focused admission experience that upholds the high standards of the IIM brand.

The CAP 2026 selection process is based on CAT cutoff percentiles, work experience, and academic performance. For the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT), the cutoff percentiles were maintained at 95 for General category candidates, 66 for SC, and 42 for ST/PwD. Eight IIMs took part in this year's CAP round to shortlist deserving candidates. Before the interviews, the CAP 2026 slot booking window was kept open until February 3, 2025. What is the Lowest CAT Cutoff for IIMs? The lowest CAT Cut off for IIM ranges from 90 to 95 percentile accepted by new or baby IIMs like IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Shillong, etc., among others. IIM Raipur Invites Applications for 2nd Batch of Senior Executive Development Program: The Indian Institute of Management Raipur has commenced the online registration process for the second batch of Senior Executive Development program- “Leadership at Peak”, which will start from June 2025. The last date of online registration is March 15, 2025. Before submitting the application form, the candidates should pay the online application fees of Rs 2,75,000+GST. Note, that the application fees can be paid in easy installments. Also, the applicants can choose the loan option for paying the registration fees. 

MBA Fees in India can range from roughly INR 15,000 to INR 35 lakh. The tuition fees at government colleges have been observed to be lower when compared to those at private MBA institutions. This is because they receive financial aid from the state or the central government to conduct their MBA programs. 96 Percentile in CAT 2025: For candidates expecting to score 96 percentile in CAT 2025, they should be prepared to obtain admissions to some of the best management institutes. To achieve 96 percentile, candidates are required to score a minimum of 66.3+ marks overall, with a sectional expected score of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC): 34.5+ marks, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): 22.9+ marks, and Quantitative Aptitude (QA): 24.4+ marks. It should be noted that this projected marks vs percentile is based on the past trends, and is most likely to change as per the latest data, including the performance of the candidates in the CAT 2025 exam, overall level of difficulty, previous year's cutoffs and various other factors. However, 96 percentile is a good score, and candidates will be admitted to the top management institute with such percentile. 

The overall CAT 2025 cutoff percentile for MBA admissions at the IIM Visakhapatnam is likely to be around 90 for the general category and between 75 and 45 for the reserved categories.
