The IIM Raipur interview shortlist 2024 was released by the last week of January 23-24, 2024. Candidates were required to fill out the PI shortlist form as soon as it was made available. The IIM Raipur CAP Personal Interview was conducted from February 12 to March 2, 2024. The IIM CAP shorlist will be released in May 2024. While preparing the IIM Raipur PI shortlist 2024, 42% weightage will be given to CAT 2023 score; 23% weightage to PI Round in CAP 2024, 33% to Profile, and 2% to Profile Mapping. Apart from this, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% aggregate to become eligible for MBA admission to IIM Raipur. An IIM Raipur CAT cutoff 2023 of 94 percentile will be required to be shortlisted for PI Round. The CAT 2023 cut off for the CAP round for each of the 3 sections is 73 percentile for the General category. The seat intake for the MBA programme at IIM Raipur is 328 for the 2024–26 batch.

IIM Raipur Shortlist 2024 for MBA Admission: How to Check Shortlist Status

The IIM CAP (Common Admission Process) will be employed to conduct MBA admission at IIM Raipur. A minimum of 94 percentile will be required in the CAT 2023 exam for CAP shortlisting. The PI shortlist will be released by IIM Raipur soon. Candidates will be able to apply for the IIM Raipur PI round by following the process given below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of IIM Raipur.

Step 2: Click on the tab that says ‘CAP 2024’.

Step 3: Enter CAT 2023 ID and password to login to your registered IIM Raipur account.

Step 4: Next, the PI form will be displayed on the screen where you are required to enter your CAT 2023 score and other details.

Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process.

IIM Raipur Selection Criteria 2024-26

Under IIM CAP, IIM Raipur offers MBA admission based on CAT scores. The 2024-26 IIM Raipur admissions and selection process consist of four stages.:

IIM Raipur Final Selection 2024

After the WAT-PI round is conducted, the final composite score will be calculated depending on four components: Overall CAT & Sectionals Percentile, Personal Interview, Profile, and Personal Profile Mapping. Degree Programme Duration

Candidates who have completed a Bachelor/Undergraduate level degree programme over a duration of 4 years would be awarded one (1) extra mark.

Gender Diversity

To ensure the balance between two genders, IIM Raipur awards six (6) additional marks to the female and transgender candidates.

Work Experience

A maximum of 8 points are awarded for work experience ranging 25-36 months, and a minimum of 2 points are awarded for experience ranging 7-12 years, for admission to the PGP programme at IIM Raipur. An applicant with less than 7 months of experience was awarded no points. The distribution of weightage with respect to work experience is given in the table below.

Personal Profile Mapping

The goal of personal profile mapping is to assess or gauge a candidate's competence to pursue the IIM Raipur's PGP programme. It is a requirement that must be fulfilled in order to be included in the merit list. Candidates will receive an invitation to complete this component within a stipulated time frame after the PI process is completed. This component would take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete. The anticipated timeline is approximately April 2024.

Reservation Policy

The Government of India reservation policy will be followed by IIM Raipur for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs).

Payment of Fee for Offer Acceptance

Selected candidates need to pay the Offer acceptance fee Rs. 1,00,000 (One lakh) before the due date and time stated in the admission offer letter through IIM Raipur payment portal. Failing which the admission offer will stand withdrawn.

On the basis of their final merit score, candidates will receive their final admission offer in the last week of April 2024, and it will be released on the IIM Raipur website. An Offer Acceptance Form as well as an Offer Acceptance Fee of Rs. 1,00,000 must be sent by the candidate who receives an admission offer from IIM Raipur and accepts it within the allotted time.
