LPU BCA (Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality) - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Being a student of the Bachelor of Computer Application course at LPU Phagwara, I can say that overall, my experience has been great. The campus is huge and has everything within it. There will be no need to go outside the premises for things like food, xerox, stationery, medicine, etc. as all are made available inside the university premises. The BCA course is very modern, the curriculum is updated and the exams are also easy. The teachers are helpful. You have to maintain an 80-90% attendance, as it is strictly monitored. The placements for BCA, as heard from my seniors are also great, with almost 80% of students securing job offers from the campus placement drive itself.

Placement: Almost 80% of the applicants secured placements. According to what I've heard, the maximum compensation package offered was Rs 8 LPA, while the lowest salary package was Rs 3.5 LPA. Many businesses, including Amazon, TCS, Google, Microsoft and others, visited and hired students during the Lovely Professional University placements. Good jobs and competitive pay packages were made available to them.

Infrastructure: The Lovely Professional University Phagwara campus has all the facilities, infrastructure, and technology required for proper academic and holistic development. For security purposes, CCTVs are placed in every corner. Projectors are installed in every classroom. Most classes are also air-conditioned. You can use an RMS to solve any problems that may emerge. LPU has a fantastic RMS system. There is WiFi available for study purposes 24x7, and most tasks can be completed with a 3 Mbps connection. The LPU Phagwara campus also has a large library with numerous study materials.

Faculty: The LPU faculty is one of its strongest overall. They are committed to providing us with a superior education and are always looking for new ways to improve the educational experience. The current and most practical nature of the course material helps us get ready for the workplace. The tests had a moderate difficulty level and had an 85% pass rate.

Hostel: My batchmates who have used the LPU hostel amenities have mentioned that they are excellent. The hostel rooms are kept up and cleaned on a regular basis. The only drawback to the outstanding hostel amenities, which include more than 25,000 hostel seats and several lodging categories, is that they are somewhat pricey. The Lovely Professional University hostel fees range from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.50 lakh.

Overall: According to the NIRF ranking 2022, LPU was rated 47th out of all public and private universities in India. It offers a wide range of courses in disciplines such as computer application, engineering, management, architecture, law, science, information technology, animation, and design at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Despite the higher-than-average course fees, the facilities and guidance provided to the students here make up for it. The annual LPU fees range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 12 lakh. Scholarships are available to assist with meeting financial needs.

Placement: Students receive training in aptitude, reasoning, free government exam preparation, soft skills and language instruction, and interviewing techniques starting in the second year and continuing for one to one and a half years until they land a job. As a result, it is a strong college overall for students choosing a bachelor's degree. Nearly 98% of engineering students with CGPAs above 6 are hired by well-known companies at the LPU placement drive. Every year, 200 MNCs place over 2000 students on the campus as a result of their visits. Depending on the student's skill, packages range from Rs 3.33 LPA to Rs 30 LPA. Personality development programmes are one of LPU's strongest tools for ensuring that its students are fully prepared for the workplace.

Infrastructure: LPU has a sizable campus that is fully furnished with contemporary amenities. With qualified professors, projectors, and security cameras in the classroom, LPU offers every convenience. LPU had an enormous development in terms of campus, teachers and students (both quality and quantity), a focus on research, participation of industry in curriculum development, Intellectual resources, On-campus amenities and acceptance on a global scale. With a separate lab for each course, LPU boasts the best lab facilities. Each stream has a distinct laboratory section with top-notch machinery and cutting-edge research facilities that are fully operational. Other facilities include AC classrooms, a mall, a library, playgrounds, an auditorium, etc.

Faculty: The Lovely Professional University faculty is powerful since almost all of them have doctorates in their fields of expertise and have been lecturing for more than ten years. Some of them have master's degrees from universities abroad, giving you a tonne of exposure. LPU faculty members have graduated from prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc, thus having a whole lot of educational experience. The faculty of Lovely Professional University always gives you the best guidance.

Hostel: Hostel facilities, while very expensive and comparable to rates for lodging in metropolitan areas, can be substituted for private flats or other hostel facilities offered by private players in neighbouring cities like Phagwara and Jalandhar, which will only increase your budget by a maximum of Rs 1000 for shared housing or Rs 2000-5000 for a private 2BHK house. The hostels can be opted on a sharing basis, but the cost varies with this. It offers one, two, three and four seater rooms. You can choose AC or Non-AC rooms as per your requirement.

Overall: When I enrolled into Lovely Professional University after watching their adverts, my notion was that whatever is shown in the adverts are not real. But when I started my academics, I came to understand that LPU is truly a place that offers the combination of both study and fun. Myself Mayank Deshpande, graduate in Computer Applications from the 2022 batch. My life in LPU was both enjoying and memorable. Plus, the learning techniques used was really great. I never faced any issue with the concepts in computer applications.

Placement: The professors at LPU use various advanced and latest techniques for teaching and making students understand the different concepts. They are always completing the syllabus right on schedule and often arrange of additional classes should there be any student who needs extra coaching. Plus, we even have guest lecturers visiting our classes and clearing our doubts and offering a new outlook to the current market.

Infrastructure: What is really liked about LPU was that their labs were not only well-maintained but also had all the latest software and learning materials. We never felt the need to consult books outside the library as it was regularly updated with all the latest edition of books and journals. And the practical lab faculty was really helpful in assisting us during the classes.

Faculty: Post completing my BCA, I participated in the campus placement conducted and got the offer from IBM with a salary package of Rs 6.5 LPA. Thanks to LPU for organizing such excellent campus placement and bringing in leading companies as it is the dream of every student to start their career with a leading company.

Hostel: The LPU hostel facilities are really good – that’s what my batchmates who use them tell me. I opted out of the same as my house was 2km away so traveling to & from was not an issue. The hostel rooms are regularly clean and maintained. Overall: Lovely Professional University has a positive environment. The campus is full of facilities for recreation and academic needs. Many events are held from time to time. From yoga to arts and from sports to cultures, events are held for all genres. I would also say that LPU is a student-centric university. There are many student organizations which work towards resolving any issues that we face. Almost 70% of the students bag placement offers at the university for every passing batch. The highest CTC for my batch was Rs 28 lakh per annum. The teachers and other staff is also good and the students are friendly.

Placement: The placement rate is good. The placement cell trains us well and tells a lot of tips and tricks to crack the final interviews. However, just like in any other institution, placements are not 100% guaranteed if your academic record is not up to the mark. The highest CTC goes up to Rs 62 lakh per annum and the average CTC is Rs 5 lakh per annum. I am presently working at Cognizant with a CTC of Rs 5.5 lakh per annum.

Faculty: The LPU teachers are well versed in their respective fields. The university hires some of the best professors for all the departments. Some of the senior teachers also have experience of around 25 years.

Hostel: Accommodation is available for boys and girls. The hostel block has different departments for the boys’ and girls’ hostels respectively. The fees of the hostels is on the higher end, especially for the apartment style rooms. The hostels are clean and well maintained as compared to the other universities in the region. We used to spend all our free time either in the Fun Zone or in the sports stadium of the hostel. The hostel experience at LPU was worth it!

Overall: The Lovely Professional University campus has one of the greatest infrastructures and offers students appropriate seating arrangements. The campus life is vibrant and exciting. Regularly, there are events taking place on campus. It is lovely and enjoyable to wander around when you have time, as the campus is huge and there are plenty of open areas for relaxation. The curriculum is updated with a variety of significant subjects that are crucial for placements with excellent instructors for those courses. The LPU placements are great. Almost 70% of students are placed every year. The highest salary package recorded was Rs 64 LPA.

Infrastructure: Without a doubt, LPU has top-notch infrastructure. The LPU campus has libraries in every building or block, computer laboratories on every floor and free Wi-Fi. The classrooms have all the necessities such as an AC, projector, laptops, smart boards and other items. The hostels are great but pricey. The canteen is good and affordable. There is a hospital for students on campus. LPU has a lovely auditorium for events and informal gatherings.

Faculty: Most of the instructors are PhD holders and have a solid understanding of practical concepts. All the LPU faculty members are kind and helpful as well. They greatly assist you. You will learn about the industry from the course curriculum as they are set like that. It prepares us for the workplace. Exams are not very challenging in terms of difficulty. You can get good grades, around 90%, if you attend classes regularly.

Hostel: LPU offers high-quality on-campus accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostel fees range from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.50 lakh. Students have a range of residential alternatives, from Standard Rooms to Apartments, depending on convenience and preference. They can also opt for AC or Non-AC rooms. The university's broad range of options satisfies the needs of every student.

Overall: Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU, formerly Meerut University) was established in 1965 with the intention to meet the needs of higher education in Uttar Pradesh. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by NAAC with a "B" rating. The university offers a huge number of new and visionary post-graduate, undergraduate, diploma, diploma, and postgraduate diploma programmes under the self-financed scheme in areas of Agricultural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Journalism, Mass Communication and Multimedia Techniques, Earth Sciences, Teacher and Physics under the capable leadership of the Vice Chancellor, a well-known innovative technologist and an established committed academic administrator. Admission to CCSU is determined by the applicant's academic record and performance on the entrance exams. The JEE Main, CSIR NET, GATE and UPCET (UPSEE) exams are accepted. The CCSU Ranking in the year 2022 in India was 99 while the world ranking in the year 2022 stood at 4275.

Placement: The placement cell was established to kick off the procedure and offer a forum for communication between the students and potential employers. By making university facilities available to them, the placement cell ensures support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process. The purpose of the placement cell is to serve as a liaison between the educational community and business, primarily assisting students in making career decisions. By holding pre-placement industry/corporate-related events like sector-specific panel discussions, mock interview sessions, regular corporate guest lectures, and corporate seminars, among other things, the placement cell tries to increase the employability of the students. In order to mentor and prepare students for the demands of the workplace, the institute brings in mid to senior-level business leaders. The placement cell will assist all companies in making their selections in accordance with their needs. Students from various courses get assistance subject to the requirement and market demand of their course so that they get a good placement at the right package.

Infrastructure: Chaudhary Charan Singh University's facilities and infrastructure include a big cafeteria, a modern auditorium, a fulfilled library, and sports facilities. The cafeteria at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut offers delicious and nutritious cuisine to the university's faculty and workers. Students and professors frequently host events and activities in the university's auditorium. It is one of the country's top universities, with a 222-acre campus that is large and pollution-free, with expansive playgrounds and experimental fields, a botanical garden, a rose garden with a life-size statue of the late prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, an indoor stadium, a well-stocked library, hostels for both boys and girls, an administrative building, a large auditorium, a guest house, a community centre, and a medical centre.

Faculty: Chaudhary Charan Singh University is among the few universities that launched a separate M.Phil. programme in diverse fields of agriculture, education, science, and the arts in the 1960s. In addition, it is among the rare universities with a fully functioning agriculture faculty. The university's mission is to provide higher education that meets all applicable fundamental and practical requirements set by the international community. There are five faculties at the university on campus: agriculture, science, arts, engineering & technology, education, medicine, law, business, and technology. The most recent addition contains several courses on technology. Each faculty's many departments provide postgraduate (M.A., M.Sc., M.Sc.Ag, M.Ed, and M.B.A.) and research (M.Phil. and PhD) programmes for traditional UGC-aided courses and self-financed career-oriented courses. There are generally 10 and 20 students enrolled at the M.Phil level (in all topics), respectively. The faculty is highly qualified in their respective fields that offers quality education to the students.

Hostel: Chaudhary Charan Singh University hostel facility is available for both boys and girls students separately. There are 6 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel available for accommodation. The right to stay at a hostel cannot be inferred from its existence. A small number of legitimate full-time students from university departments who pay the requisite fees on time can stay in one of the institution's eight hostels (six for men and two for women), which offer good dormitory accommodations. The maintenance of the rooms, furniture, and fixtures while residing in the hostel is the responsibility of the students. If an inmate is discovered engaging in any behaviour unworthy of a student, the university administration has the right to request that they leave the hostel. Overall: I selected this course mostly because of the facilities, employment possibilities, and current demand for computer science at KIET. The B.Tech program's biggest feature is how it helps students grow and gets them ready for the workforce. I think this course can't be improved upon because everything is currently fantastic. Events and festivals are wonderful because they provide a vacation from studying while being utterly pleasant. Students can demonstrate their skills. The facility for scholarships is the greatest. Because I am an OBC, I was awarded a scholarship worth Rs. 52,200, which is fantastic. The KIET scholarship office runs well and helps students in every way to get scholarships. I chose this programme because, in my opinion, it offers the best bachelor's degree available in India. Additionally, I chose GL Bajaj due to its outstanding placement rates and competent faculty. Each professor is a PhD-holder and a subject-matter authority.

Since there aren't many internship opportunities on campus, you'll mainly need to venture off campus. are some of the best companies to relocate here in the last four years. If you want to earn 10 LPA or if you're preparing for your dream jobs at organisations like Amazon, Google, Adobe, and Flipkart, you must choose off-campus work. Records show that several students, most typically through Internshala, secured internship offers. Even though students are only qualified for campus placement after their seventh semester, if we discover an internship or firm placement opportunity during our third year, we can apply for it without a doubt. Infrastructure: This region has excellent facilities and infrastructure. The fast internet speed, excellent Wi-Fi capability, and superb internet facility all combine to give a good platform for online work and projects. The labs are moreover immaculate and fully stocked with materials that are plentiful enough to enable any student to do an experiment without difficulty. The spaces are great since the benches are really comfortable and the classrooms are completely air-conditioned. Keeping hostel amenities in good condition requires regular cleaning and maintenance. The great cuisine served at the mess is so delicious that every student would enjoy it. Additionally available are sporting products and medical supplies.It's great that the library has all the course-related literature available. Books on general knowledge and question banks might occasionally be difficult to find. There isn't much space in the labs and classrooms. Wi-Fi is available all the time in the labs, dorms, and library.

Faculty: Because they have PhDs in various specialties, the professors here are highly educated and qualified. They are really extremely helpful. Before the semester exams, every teacher was of the utmost assistance. Even at midnight, they were ready to help any of the children who needed assistance. This is also true during class hours at the college because they are so dedicated to teaching us. The quality of their training is really high, and the students get a lot from it. The professors at the college are quite capable. Most of the faculty hold PhDs and have had successful research careers. We are able to ask the professors any questions we have, and they are always willing to help. At my institution, every faculty is the best; they are all superior thinkers, wonderful communicators, and provide excellent handwritten notes on the subjects to which they are connected for each specific course.

Hostel: The hostel has good amenities. Every day, food is served four times, and it's of good quality. A gym, canteen, laundry, and many other ancillary amenities are made available to students. The lodgings are really spacious and the registration procedure is fairly easy. There are also other private hostels and PGs located in the Knowledge Park 3 area. The hostel is pleasant; the size of the rooms is also satisfactory; we are given a bed, an armoire, a table, chairs, and a separate fan; the quality of the meals is average; the hostel has seven levels; this is a drawback because there are no hostels for fourth-year students. The hostel offers rooms with a single bed, a double bed, and a three-person bed. The rent will depend on the size of your chosen room. Selecting a three-person room as opposed to a single-person one will result in the lower rent.
