LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :- • The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelor’s degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher. • LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. • Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc. • Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. • Board Toppers • For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities • Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable and will be reduced from the fees of every semester.

LPU is renowned private university which floats more than 250 programmes and B.Tech is the flagship programme which is high in demand. One of my friend inquired about CSE programme and I also came to know that the students who scored 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST. LPUNEST serves two purposes eligibility and scholarship. The University is conducting remotely proctored online LPUNEST from home since month of May and will also continue same in June. LPU promotes following scholarship: 1.On the basis of marks in previous class 2.LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship 3.Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc. 4.Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. 5.Board Toppers 6.For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities 7.Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents 8.LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. In addition to this there are three brackets 1. 90% or above aggregate marks in either 12th or 10th 2. 80% - 89.9% aggregate marks in either 12th or 10th 3. 70% – 79.9% aggregate marks in either 12th or 10th Percentage of scholarship varies from slab to slab and varies with phase of admission. I will advice you to plan the admission at the earliest or maximum by 30-6-2020 to fetch the maximum scholarship.
