The scholarship is offered in all the programmes in order to provide financial benefit to bright and deserving students. During last year, LPU has granted scholarships worth INR 100+ crores to students (maximum up to 6 lacs per student) to pursue their education. The scholarship percentage varies programme-wise as per the students' scores. For each category of scholarship, 1-3 brackets of Scholarship (Brackets 1, 2, and 3) are defined. Each bracket represents specific criteria which an applicant must fulfil, for him/her to fall in that particular bracket. Criteria in bracket 1 are the most strict and the conditions are relaxed in subsequent brackets and the scholarship is also reduced in each next bracket. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket 1 (top bracket) get the highest scholarship and those in Bracket 2 or Bracket 3 get a relatively lesser scholarship. The candidate may be eligible for more than one scholarships but he will be entitled for only one, whichever is the highest. The eligibility criteria for b.tech here in LPU is applicant need to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). There is some scholarships which are on the basis of entrance test that is Lpunest , national level exams like, financial aid like need basis, defense basis and many more. If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents.

I would like to mention that fee structure at LPU is flexible it totally depends upon the calibre of student. As LPU provides numerous scholarships based on previous qualification, performance in LPU-NEST, some achievements in sports, cultural activities, entrepreneurship etc. So during the admission ones proficiency will decide which scholarship will be applicable. If you avail the scholarship based on your academics performance your scholarship will remain valid through the standard duration of programme, where for other non-academic scholarship there are certain criteria with which student has to abide by certain conditions to continue with the scholarship.

If you are a board topper then you can 100 percent waiver on programme fee. You can get scholarship on the basis of class 10 marks if it is more than 80 percent and on class 12 if it is more than 75 percent.

LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPUNEST, Sports, Defence, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. One of my friend inquired about CSE programme and I also came to know that the students who scored 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST. Scholarship Categories: Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: Eligibility Qualification: (for example 10+2 for Under graduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes) LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Certain National Level Tests (like JEE (Main), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT etc.) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions For Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defence and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependants Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Note: Scholarship brackets and/or Phases mentioned below are not applicable for special scholarship and /or fee concession.
