Listed below are some of the major factors to consider while choosing BSc Chemistry colleges with low fees:
  • Honours vs General: Some institutes may offer “Chemistry General” (as one subject) vs “Chemistry Honours” (specialized). The Honours course might demand more lab/practical work, which can incur higher costs.

  • Fees vs Total Cost: Tuition fees are only part of the total cost. Lab fees, commuting, library, examination, hostel, etc., add up. Some colleges are affordable in terms of the tuition but hostel or other costs can make it more expensive.

  • Reservation/ Subsidies: Many government institutes have fee concessions/ scholarships / reservation which reduce cost further for the SC/ ST/ OBC or low-income students.

  • Infrastructure & Quality: Low fee doesn’t always signify low quality, but you should crosscheck if the college has well-equipped chemistry labs and  good faculty.

India's budget-friendly colleges offer B.Sc Chemistry programs at low cost, thus reducing the financial burden on aspirants while delivering quality education in a supportive environment. Lookout for scholarship programs and fee waivers provided based on financial background and merit in these colleges for additional support before applying.

LPU does not strictly require CAT for admission to its MBA program. Admission can be based on LPU’s own entrance test, LPUNEST, or academic performance in graduation. Candidates can also be considered through other qualifying exams or merit criteria specified by the university. It’s important to check the official admission guidelines and apply accordingly to secure a seat.

Students need to apply online, submit academic documents, and appear for the entrance test or portfolio assessment if required. Selected candidates must complete document verification and pay the admission fees to confirm their seat in the program.

If you are a Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) graduate appearing for GATE in Electronics and Communication (EC) paper, you may face challenges in PSU hiring, since there are specific eligibility for the qualifying degree branch. For example, PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, Power Grid, and NPCIL only accept graduates in BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). Graduates in ECS may qualify for CS/IT-focused PSUs through CS paper instead. However, recruitment to certain PSUs like ONGC, IOCL will be done through GATE 2026 only.
