Andhra Pradesh GNM Eligibility Criteria 2020 

The eligibility for GNM admissions in Andhra Pradesh is as follows:

Academic Qualification

  • An applicant wishing to be admitted to the GNM course must have passed the HSC exam or Class 12th from a recognised board.

  • Must secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks in their qualifying examination.

  • English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry as their main subject in the last qualifying exam. 

  • Candidates who pass from NIOS-recognized State Open School are also eligible for GNM admission in Andhra Pradesh

Age

  • Applicant must be over 17 years of age at the time of admission and must be born on or after 31st December.

  • The upper age limit is 35 years.

Domicile

  • Only Andhra Pradesh state residents are eligible to apply for GNM course.

  • As evidence, the residence certificate must be provided at the time of admission.

  • Both male and female applicants are qualified to apply for the GNM course in AP.

Andhra Pradesh GNM Application Process 2020

AP GNM Nursing Application Form will be available on the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh. Make sure that the information entered in the application form is valid, as it will also be used in future for Andhra Pradesh GNM Admission process 2020. The steps for filling the application form are mentioned below. You can follow them to successfully fill AP GNM Application Form.

  1. First visit the official website of Directorate of Medical Education, AP (www.dme.ap.nic.in.)

  2. New User Registration: Complete the New Registration by entering the necessary information such as name, email address, password, mobile number etc.

  3. To start filling out the application form, log in to the dashboard using the login ID and Password created during the registration.

  4. Application Form Filling: Fill out the application form by providing the information mentioned below.

    • Enter your personal information such as Name, Father Name, Address, Category, etc.

    • After that enter your academic information such as Class 10th and 12th marks, and other academic details

    • Upload your supporting documents as mentioned on the application form.

    • Pay the application fee.

  • The selection will be made solely on the basis of merit. Based on the candidate’s marks secured in the qualifying examination

  • In addition, SC / ST / BC applicants must submit their Caste Certificate at the time of counselling.
