CUET is an entrance test that provides UG admission in Central, Deemed to be and Private Colleges accepting CUET scores. The exam consist of three sections, namely Section IA, Section IB, Section II, and Section III. The former two sections will be for Languages, the second section will be domain-specific and the last section will be a General Test which will be optional. All the questions will be of Class 12th level.
CUET 2024 Overview
Few of the important generalized pointers regarding CUET 2024 exam are mentioned below:
- CUET 2024 will be held online in a Computer Based Test mode.
- The exam will be conducted in 13 languages such as English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.
- Candidates can select any one of the 13 languages mentioned above mentioned as their medium of instruction.
- The Common Universities Entrance Test will be conducted in Morning as well as Afternoon Shifts across 547 exam centres located in India and abroad.
- CUET Computer Science will witness a total of 85 questions out of which candidates have to attempt 65.
- For every correct answer 5 marks will be awarded while 1 mark will be reduced for the incorrect attempt.
