TS LAWCET 2024 is a state-level law entrance examination conducted by Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE, Hyderabad to admit candidates into 3-year or 5-year LL.B courses offered by the law colleges in the state of Telangana. Registrations for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) are expected to commence in March 2024. TS LAWCET is conducted for both 3-year and 5-year LL.B courses and the entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 3, 2024.

TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

For the 3-year LL.B course, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must have passed any graduate degree with 10+2+3 pattern of a recognised university.

• Must have passed with 45% marks in aggregate for general category, 42% marks for OBC Category and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.

For the 5-year LL.B course, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Must have passed two-year Intermediate Examination in 10+2 pattern.

• For candidates belonging to the General category, at least 45% marks in aggregate is the minimum requirement.

• For candidates belonging to the OBC category, 42% aggregate marks is the pass percentage.

• For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 40% aggregate marks is the pass percentage.

Qualifying Marks for TS LAWCET 2024

The Entrance Test has a qualifying percentage of marks of 35%.There is no minimum aggregate percent of marks for applicants from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes. Passing the entrance exam does not guarantee an applicant to admission to LL B.

The following criteria are crucial for admission -

• The candidate must appear at the authorized Counselling Centres for Counselling.
• He must have applied in response to an enrollment notification issued by the relevant authority.
• He must meet all of the admission eligibility standards established by the administration at the time of Application Notification/Counselling. 
• In addition, the candidate must meet the merit and legislative reservations, as applicable.

How to Apply for TS LAWCET 2024?

Candidates applying for TS LAWCET 2024 have to ensure they have the following computer system requirements:

• Screen Resolution: 600X800

• Disabled pop-up blocks

• Uninstall all the Script blockers

• Browsers such as Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and above/Google Chrome/Internet Explorer 6.0 and above.

• Name of the candidate

• Name of the Father

• Date of Birth

• Mobile Number

• Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying examination (Passed or Appeared)

A Receipt form of the Registration fee payment will be given to the candidate, containing a Transaction ID.

• Click on the "Fill Application Form" button

• Fill in the required details and proceed.

• The candidate shall be redirected to the payment gateway link.

• Make a note of the "Payment Reference ID" for future reference.

Fill the application form:

• After paying the fee by cash at APOnline/TSOnline Centre or credit card/net banking, candidates must fill in the application form.

• Candidates may take a print out of the submitted form.

• Candidates can check the status of the fee payment.

While uploading your passport-sized photograph and signature, be mindful of the below-mentioned pointers:

1. The size of the passport size photograph should be less than 50 kb.

2. The size of the signature should be less than 30 kb.

3. Both the photos must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.

4. The passport size photograph must be scanned.

5. Selfies and other kinds of photos will not be accepted.
