IIT Delhi UCEED Cutoff 2026

IIT Delhi UCEED Cutoff 2026 will be announced after the conduct of UCEED 2026, which was held on January 18, 2026. IIT Delhi’s UCEED cutoff trends can be used by the students to estimate what rank they must target for B.Des admission in 2026. To take admissions at IIT Delhi for B.Des courses, the ranks for General (Open) category usually closes within the top 10-35 All India UCEED ranks. It is important for them to score beyond the target to secure their admissions at IIT Delhi as IIT Delhi UCEED cutoff range are even tighter for EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST. UCEED Part A cutoff has been released; the mean and standard deviation for Part A are 70.86 and 25.77, respectively.​

IIT Delhi offers a B.Des programme where admission is granted through the UCEED common counselling based on All India Rank (AIR) and student’s category. For 2026, the official cutoff will be released after UCEED results and joint seat allocation, but you can get an idea about the cutoff with reference to previous year cutoffs for different categories.

How To use Previous Year Cutoffs for UCEED 2026

You can consider these previous-year ranks as minimum targets that you need to obtain to reserve your seats at IIT Delhi. Please keep in mind the following major points.

  • If you belong to General (Open) category, you must aim for an All India Rank well within 15-30, so that you don’t have to wait till the last round of counselling.
  • For EWS / OBC-NCL category, always target single-digit or low-double-digit ranks, ideally less than 18 so that you are able to reach to the closing rank. ​
  • For SC / ST, try to stay within the top 10-12 ranks in your category to stay ahead of fluctuations.

You can be a part of B.Des at IIT Delhi if you score beyond the expected UCEED cutoffs for 2026 or at least score as per the previous year’s cutoff as mentioned in this article. IIT Delhi has consistently closed for General category within the first 15-40 ranks, with even tighter windows for EWS, OBC-NCL, SC and ST. You must aim to score a little higher as compared to previous years because of increased competition and limit number of seats which is 20 seats across all categories.
