List of Courses Offered by NISER through NEST 2025: Students willing to take admission in NISER through the NEST 2025 exam must refer to the list of courses offered by NISER. NISER offers integrated courses in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Apart from this, NISER also provides NEST UG courses in numerous areas related to science streams such as Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Medical and Radiation Physics. All these courses under the NEST Exam are offered by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER).To get admission in integrated courses at NISER, students must appear for NEST 2025 exam. NEST 2025 exam will be conducted on June 22, 2025. NEST 2025 application form got released on February 17, 2025  by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The last day to apply for NEST 2025 is May 09, 2025.

What is NEST?

NEST or the National Entrance Screening Test is a national-level entrance test conducted annually to admit students for NISER’s five-year integrated MSc programme in basic sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The students who will appear and qualify for NEST Exam 2025 will also be able to take admission in the University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences through NEST Exam 2025 along with NISER, Bhubaneshwar.

NEST Exam 2025 will be very competitive like previous years as every student who is aiming to shape their career in science streams will appear for NEST 2025 to be part of either NISER or University of Mumbai. NISER Courses through NEST 2025: Eligibility Criteria

NEST Eligibility Criteria 2025 is crucial to meet before applying for the integrated 5 years MSc programme of NISER. One must keep checking the websites for regular updates on eligibility criteria.

• Students must have completed the Class XII examination in the regular science stream from a recognised board in 2023, 2024 or are appearing in 2025 board are also eligible for taking admission in NISER through NEST 2025.
• They need to have at least 60% in total or equivalent scores in XII examination.
• Students belonging to SC/ST and Divyangjan categories will get 5% relaxation in the aggregate.
• Students obtaining letter grades must submit a certificate of the same board declaring an equivalent percentage.
• The students must secure a rank in the NEST merit list for final admission.

Note: Original certificates need to be submitted only during admission.
