There is an exam centre for MH SET in Solapur, Chandrapur, Ahmednagar, Dhule, Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur and Goa.
Aspirants from the state of Goa are also eligible to appear for MH SET. Goa does not conduct a separate SET.
The University of Pune (SPPU) is the conducting body of MH SET.
If your subject is not available in MH SET, you will have to appear for UGC NET exam.
MH SET certificate is valid only for the appointments within Mahasrhtra state. The candidates can apply for Maharashtra universities or colleges.
The validity of the MH SET certificate is a lifetime. The candidates will have to download the E-Certificate through the official website after the announcement of results.
MH SET 2020 scheduled on June 28, 2020, has been postponed, and the new exam date will be released only after assessing the Covid-19 situation in Maharashtra. Keep checking this page for the latest updates.
