JAM 2025 Organising Committee allocates IIT JAM exam centres according to candidates' choices and can also add new or remove one as the centres are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Only in the case of exceptional circumstances, students can change their JAM 2025 exam centres. Registered students must submit a legitimate justification for changing the exam centre via the JOAPS portal online when the correction window opens for them. IIT JAM organising body does not guarantee that the exam location will be changed or that the processing fee will be refunded. • Students can follow these steps to change the location of their IIT JAM exam in exceptional circumstances:

• Visit IIT JAM website to access IIT JAM application account.

• Choose the "Change Exam Centre" option.

• Select "Exceptional Circumstances" as the option.

• Give a good reason for the request to change the location of the exam. Students’ claim they must be supported by written evidence, such as a medical certificate or a police report.

• Pay a processing fee of Rs. 500.

• Choose the "Submit" button.
