Since you passed ITI (Fitter) in 2023, you are eligible for the GP Rating course. However, Lovely Professional University does not offer GP Rating or merchant navy programs. GP Rating is a 6-month course conducted by specialized maritime institutes approved by DG Shipping. You can apply there with basic eligibility and medical fitness. Nothing is free in this world, and an ITI course is not exception. There are various ITI courses where you can get admission basis your Class 10th or Class 12th marks. Since you have not mentioned your latest qualification, I will give a generalised answer.

  • Engineering trades have the best opportuinities. Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Draughtsman (Civil) etc - if you opt for any of these, you have very high chances of getting a state-sponsored scholarship.
