The detailed application process for NIT Agartala ITEP admission 2025 has been discussed below:

• Visit the official website, admission.nita.ac.in. The portal is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, so candidates are advised to use Firefox.
• The NIT Agartala ITEP application process is conducted online. Offline handwritten or printed applications will not be entertained.
• Once the registration is complete, the application ID (to be used as a login name) with a password will be sent to the email ID provided by the applicant.
• Using the login credentials, applicants must log in to the admission portal to fill in the required information.
• All the details of the candidates, personal, educational, etc., should be filled up in the application form.
• After the completion and submission of the online form, the application form in PDF format will be generated.

The NIT Agartala ITEP admission 2025 includes 2 rounds of counselling and a spot admission round. Based on the NCET 2025 score and application process, students will be allotted seats in Round 1 and Round 2 counselling. The candidates whose names appear in the selection list have to confirm their seats by paying the semester fee.

In case of any tie, the older candidate will be ranked above the younger candidates in age. But, if this tie-breaking criterion fails to break the tie, then the higher marks obtained in the total marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th or equivalent level will be considered as a tie-breaker.

The NIT Agartala counselling process 2025 is explained below:

• After the completion of the application process, the Round 1 selection list is released on the official website.
• The students whose names are in the list have to book their allotted seats by paying the online admission fee.
• If there are vacant seats, the next round of the selection merit list will be released.
• The eligible candidates will then have to accept the seat by paying the semester fee.
• The students have to report to NIT Agartala after the seat allotment is done. On the reporting day, candidates must carry a printed copy of the online filled-out form along with all the necessary documents (to use a proof for educational qualification, date of birth, category of the students, NCET 2025 score, etc.) along with a xerox copy of all these documents, attested by the student.
• Next comes the NIT Agartala spot admission round, where candidates who are provisionally selected have to pay Rs 21,325 through the MIS portal of NIT Agartala before the deadline.
• The spot admission round is entirely merit-based for the waiting list selection.
• The students should carry one passport-sized photograph.
• All the photocopies of the original documents should be carried along with the self-attestation on meeting the eligibility criteria, failing which their candidature may be cancelled.
• In case a candidate has not been selected as per merit but has paid the admission fee, such a fee will be refunded.
• If candidates are selected provisionally for admission but fail to report physically at the institute on the specified date, the admission fee will not be refunded.

Documents Required for NIT Agartala ITEP Admission 2025

• Valid NCET 2025 scorecard
• 10th standard or matriculation or equivalent certificate or any other certificate issued by government authorities, for proof as date of birth and name of candidate.
• Mark sheet or grade card of Class 12th examination or equivalent.
• Pass certificate of Class XII board examination or equivalent exam.
• For State Eligibility proof, mark sheet/ grade card or pass certificate (if issued separately from school) of the Class 12th board examination, in case the name and address of the school are written on it.
• Character certificate issued by the Institution last attended.
• SC certificate, if applicable
• ST certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• OBC-NCL certificate, if applicable
• EWS certificate, if applicable
• The OBC-NCL/ EWS certificate must be issued by a competent authority on or after 01/04/2025.
• Admission under the PwD category will be completed based on the recommendation of the Medical Board of NIT Agartala.

NIT Agartala ITEP Admission Fees 2025

The first semester fee at NIT Agartala for the ITEP course is Rs 24,325 (admission fee), which should be paid in the MIS portal as the seat acceptance fee for students who are allotted a seat during the Round 1 and 2 counselling rounds. Those who will not pay the Semester I fee and have not completed their admission process in the MIS portal will have their candidature cancelled for the seat allotted to them in the respective round of the counselling process.

NIT Agartala ITEP Eligibility Criteria 2025

To become eligible for the NIT Agartala ITEP admission 2025, students need to meet some eligibility criteria, which are as follows:

• The applicant must have completed their Class 12th board examination or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the best five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or council.
• To become eligible for ITEP admission, the applicant must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the Class 12th board examination or its equivalent.
• Those willing to take admission must have qualified the NCET 2025 exam.

State of Eligibility (HS or OS)

• State of eligibility indicates the state from which a candidate has passed the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination. They must keep a note that the state of eligibility does not depend upon the native place or the place of residence of the candidate.
• If a candidate has passed the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination from one state but appeared for improvement from another state, the candidate's state of eligibility will be from where the candidate first passed his/ her Class 12th (or equivalent) exam and not the state from where the candidate has appeared for improvement.
• The exam centre for the candidates from Open Schooling will be considered as their State of Eligibility and not the state or centre from where the test-taker has enrolled.
