OUAT MVSc Admissions 2024 will commence in the month of April 2024. Admissions to the MVSc course at OUAT will be based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam. Candidates who would like to appear for the entrance exam must fill ou the application form. Orissa University Of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar, was founded in 1962 and has worked in agricultural research and education with IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi. The NIRF ranks OUAT 101st in terms of overall university performance in 2019. Agriculture, Home Science, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Engineering, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Computer Science, Agricultural Business Management, and Bioinformatics are among the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes available at the university. The University administers an entrance exam for admission to the programme. Students who have passed the ICAR test are exempt from taking the entrance exam. OUAT MVSc Application Process 2024

Step1: Fill in the Application Form

• Candidates need to first visit the OUAT official website i.e www.ouat.nic.in then go to the admission section and click on “Student login for online application for MVSc Admission 2024

• Candidates will have to provide their e-mail ID, mobile number, OTP sent to the mobile number & e-mail, and Captcha code for registration

• After registration, candidates need to log in again with User id & Password

• After login, a window showing “Apply”, clicking on “Post Graduate Programme 2024, select MVSc,  the application form will appear and the candidate will fill up the application

Step 2: Upload Photograph and Signature

After filling up the application form, candidates must upload their passport-sized photograph and scanned signature.

Step 3: Pay the application fee

After filling the application form candidates will be required to pay the application fee. The application fee for MVSc is INR 1400/- which can be paid online. Receipt for the same will be automatically generated on the screen.

Step 4: Take Application printout

After paying the application fee, candidates need to submit the application form and must take a printout for future reference.

How Do I Apply for the OUAT?

Submission of Online Applications

The application forms for all courses are available on the university's official website. To apply for the courses, candidates must do the following:

• Go to the official OUAT website at www.ouat.ac.in
• Navigate to the Admissions tab. The Admission page will include a list of all relevant links
• Select the appropriate link for the course for which you want to apply
• The link takes you to the SBI Collect website, where you can pay the application fee of INR 1000 online
• Fill out the form and submit it after successfully making the payment

Offline Application Submission

The application forms for the postgraduate and doctoral programmes are also available on campus. Candidates must complete the following tasks:

• The application forms are available on campus or can be downloaded and printed
• Send the completed application form to The Director, College of Basic Science and Humanities, OUAT, Bhubnaswar-751003
• Use the online SBI Collect facility to pay the application fee of INR 1000/-

Required Documents for OUAT MVSc Admission 2024

Candidates are advised to bring the following documents with them to the admissions office:

• 10th grade point average and certificate from a recognised board; 10+2 or equivalent grade point average and certificate from a recognised university or board
• Bachelor's Degree mark sheet and certificate from an accredited university
• As needed, a residential certificate
• If applicable, special quota certificates
• Two 24cmX11cm self-addressed unstamped envelopes

OUAT MVSc Selection Process 2024

The selection of the candidate to OUAT MVSc course will be done on the basis of merit. A merit list of the candidates shall be drawn up on the basis of the total score (Qualifying Exam + Extra weightage, if any).
