Before proceeding with the application process of TNDALU 2023, an individual needs to make sure that he/ she satisfies the eligibility norms prescribed by the university. TNDALU Application Process 2023

One of the most important steps for the TNDALU admission 2023 is the application process. Candidates need to carefully fill up the application form that needs to be filled up only in online mode. Applicants need to submit separate application forms for each course, offered in the School of Excellence in Law & Affiliated Law Colleges. However, those applying for BA LL.B(Hons.) and BBA LL.B (Hons.) can use the same application Form. Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit of their performance in the qualifying exam and as per the Rules of Reservation prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Those eligible to apply under NRI Quota have to get the application form physically from the Law Admissions Office, by submitting the required fee. The TNDALU 2023 application fee has to be paid through Online Payment Gateway only.

Here are a few steps explaining how to fill out the application form of TNDALU 2023 through online mode:

  1. Visit the official website of the university.
  2. Click on the registration link mentioned on the homepage.
  3. Register yourself by entering valid details.
  4. Log in with your registered username and password.
  5. Fill up all the personal and academic details carefully.
  6. Submit the form.
  7. Upload the required documents.
  8. Pay the application fee of TNDALU 2023 through net banking, debit/ credit card.

TNDALU Application Fee 2023

The 3-year application form for the TNDALU admission 2023 has been released on July 17, 2023 and the last date to submit the application form along with the application fee is August 10, 2023. However, the application process for the 5-year LL.B courses has now been closed. 

Interested candidates have to visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU), tndalu.ac.in. The TNDALU admission process 2023 begins with online registration, selection of courses, filling out the application form and finally paying the application fee. The application fee can only be paid online and no other modes of payment such as demand draft, cash, challan or cheque will be accepted. Once the application fee has been paid, it will not be refunded.

TNDALU Merit List 2023

The merit list of TNDALU 2023 is released after the application process has ended. During the centralised admission process, the university will prepare the merit lists of all courses including BA LLB, BBA LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to TNDALU based purely on thie merit cum preference, the marks acquired in the qualifying examination. The better the marks obtained, the higher the chances of securing a seat in the university. No separate entrance examination will be held for LLB and LLM admissions at TNDALU 2023.

The TNDALU merit list will be released in the form of counselling cut-off marks. All candidates having a score more than the counselling cut-off wil be eligible to participate in the counselling.

The merit list of TNDALU 2023 carries the merit rank of the candidates which helps in selecting the deserving ones through the counselling process. For PhD aspirants, an entrance examination and a personal interview are held to finalise the deserving candidates.

TNDALU Cut Off 2023

The cutoff of TNDALU 2023 will be generated for both School of Excellence in Law and affiliated law colleges. The admission authorities will release the TNDALU 2023 cut-off for all courses and colleges. A category-wise cut-off list is released by the university and only those who meet the cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. 

The cut-offs for TNDALU 2023 will be decided based on marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The university follows merit cum preference criteria while preparing the cut-offs. It depends upon the number of seats offered in the law programme, reservation policy, performance of the candidates in the exam and others. The previous year's cut-offs are mentioned below.

TNDALU Counselling Process 2023

The conducting body is likely to send an invitation letter for the counselling process of TNDALU. If in any case an individual meets the cutoff criteria and has not received the invitation, he/she can still sit for the counselling rounds.

The counselling process for TNDALU admissions 2023 will be held separately for LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD programmes. Around 5 rounds of counselling will be conducted for the integrated LLB (Hons.) courses while 3 rounds of counselling will be held for the LLB (Hons.) programme. The counselling process will be the same for the School of Excellence in Law and affiliated law colleges.

The TNDALU 2023 counselling process includes steps such as online registration, document submission and verification. Based on the TNDALU counselling, the university announces admission cut-offs and informs the candidates about their admission status.
