Eligibility Criteria for Top Veterinary Colleges in India through NEET

  • The student must have completed Class 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects.

  • A minimum of 55% marks is mandatory in 1the 0+2 level exam. However, the minimum aggregate vary from college to college.

  • Often, a 2%-5% relaxation is granted to SC/ST/OBC category students.

  • The age limit for Veterinary courses is 17 to 25 years. A 5-year relaxation in the upper limit is provided for SC/ST/OBC students. The age criteria differs from institute to institute.

The admission process at top Veterinary colleges in India through NEET 2025 includes steps like taking the NEET exam, result and cutoff declaration, counselling process and seat allotment. Students who qualify the NEET exam 2025, scoring the NEET Cutoff 2025 , will be invited for the NEET 2025 counselling process. The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts the VCI counselling for 15% of All India Quota seats. The state quota seats are filled through state authorities.
