TS ICET Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

It is of utmost importance that candidates meet the eligibility criteria for the TS ICET counselling process. It is through the counselling process that aspirants are allotted seats in their choice of MBA programs offered by colleges and universities in the state of Telangana. Candidates who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will not be able to participate in the counselling process and thereby secure admission to their choice of MBA colleges.   • Candidates must be Indian nationals to apply for TS ICET counselling.
  • Candidates should be residents of the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates must have completed a minimum of 3-year bachelor’s degree.
  • For MBA admissions through TS ICET counselling, candidates with the following qualifications are eligible:
    • Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Mathematics as a core subject at 10+2 or Graduation level
    • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
    • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
    • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
  • Candidates should not be older than 30 (OC candidates) and 34 (Other candidates) as of July 1, 2024.
  • Candidates who belong to Minority category (Muslim/Christian) would only be deemed eligible for counselling, and only for the open seats in minority universities, if they are unable to pass the TS ICET 2024 or have received 50% (OC applicants) and/or 45% (other category applicants) in their exams.
  • Candidates must meet the minimum TS ICET passing marks or the qualifying cutoff.
  • Distance learning/open university degrees must be recognized by a Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
