Who is Eligible for AP LAWCET Phase I Counselling?

The AP LAWCET 2023 examination held annually, facilitates admission to law colleges in Andhra Pradesh and its vicinity. This year the AP LAWCET 2023 took place on May 20, 2023, and the AP LAWCET 2023 results were released on June 16, 2023, on the official website.

Following the release of results the AP LAWCET 2023 merit list is released wherein the eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling phases of the exam. AP LAWCET 2023 Counselling Process

The AP LAWCET 2023 counselling process is held in two phases. As soon as the notification for the AP LAWCET 2023 counselling is released, candidates who have qualified for the entrance exam have to register for counselling by providing the required information such as personal details, marks obtained and rank, enrollment number etc. 

A helpline desk will be allotted to each candidate from where one has to get their documents verified. After successful verification, candidates have to pay the counselling fee at the centre.

The next step is that the candidate has to select their course and college preferences by exercising the AP LAWCET 2023 web options.

The final seat allotment of AP LAWCET will be done on the basis of many factors such as course preference, college preference, seat availability, the marks obtained by the candidate in the AP LAWCET 2023 exam, the rank of the candidate, the category of the candidate etc.

Who is Eligible for the AP LAWCET 2023 Phase I Counselling? 

Given below are the parameters on the basis of which one is eligible for the AP LAWCET 2023 phase I counselling: 

  • Candidates who have qualified for the AP LAWCET 2023 exam are eligible.
  • Those who have their names on the merit list of the AP LAWCET 2023 exam can participate in this round.
  • Applicants who have submitted the form for the AP LAWCET 2023 counselling are eligible to be a part. 
  • Candidates who have paid the counselling fees are eligible for Phase I counselling.

Who is Not Eligible for the AP LAWCET 2023 Phase I Counselling?  

Given below are the parameters on the basis of which one is not allowed to participate in the AP LAWCET 2023 phase I counselling:

  • Candidates who have not qualified for the AP LAWCET 2023 exam are not eligible.

Hello Sakshi,

To secure admission to the B.A LLB programme at Swami Vivekananda Law College, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (SC/ ST category candidates - 40%). The programme is 5 years long and divided into 10 semesters. It has an intake of 120 students. The programme is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
