IIT Placements 2025-26: IIT Placements for the year 2025-26 will be conducted in two phases for all IITs, with the first phase typically beginning in December and the second phase running from February to May. As per the official placement reports published by the respective IIT Training & Placement Cells, IIT Bombay recorded an average package of approximately INR 23.50 LPA, with sectors like technology, finance, and consulting dominating recruitment. IIT Indore recorded an average salary of around INR 23.50 LPA, with top-performing BTech branches like Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering having the highest averages. According to IIT Kharagpur's official Training & Placement Cell data, the institute recorded a domestic highest package of INR 2.68 CPA (Crore Per Annum), with top recruiters including Apple, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and SLB (formerly Schlumberger). IIT Delhi recorded a domestic highest package of INR 1 Crore Per Annum, with more than 50 offers exceeding INR 1 Crore during Phase 1. Some of the most prominent recruiters across the top IITs in India include Microsoft, Google, Apple, Qualcomm, Amazon, Flipkart, ISRO, American Express, Boston Consulting Group, and Intel.

IIT Gandhinagar GATE Cutoff 2026: IIT Gandhinagar MTech GATE cutoff 2026 will be released during the COAP counselling by IIT Gandhinagar iitgn.ac.in. The expected IIT Gandhinagar GATE cutoff 2026 for CSE is 700 to 750 to GN, 700 to 750 for EWS, 650 to 700 for OBC NCL, 460 to 510 for SC, and 350 to 400 for ST. IIT Gandhinagar launches Special PGD Programmes: The  Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, launches three new 6-month PGD programs in Generative AI-enabled technologies. These courses are being offered in partnership with Futurense Technologies and are designed to empower students and working professionals with advanced knowledge in AI, Data Science, and Software Engineering with Cloud. All courses include more than 600 hours of intensive, hands-on learning that provides participants with practical experience equivalent to about two years in the tech industry.

Outside MP Students can also get Admission Through DTE MP Polytechnic Counselling 2026, however, with a few restrictions. For DTE MP Polytechnic, around 85% seats are reserved for the state quota. The remaining seats are available for students from other states under the unreserved/open category. You can apply for the open seats if you are from outside MP through the official DTE MP Online Portal. Though the official release date has been announced, there is no update on the official release time of the DTE MP Polytechnic merit list 2026. Based on the previous years’ trends, it is assumed that the merit list link will likely be activated either in the late afternoon or in the evening on the official website- dte.mponline.gov.in.
Candidates do not need any credentials for downloading the merit list PDF, which will consist of the details like name of the candidates, their categories and roll numbers, ranks, and domicile status. The mode of checking the DTE MP Polytechnic merit list 2026 is online only; the authority will not send any notification regarding the release of the merit list. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep refreshing the official website.

JoSAA Counselling Registration 2026 Begins: Candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced exams and want to pursue their B.Tech. should participate in the JoSAA counselling process. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has been started the JoSAA counselling registration process 2026 today, June 2, 2026. To participate in the counselling registration process, candidates should visit the official website at josaa.nic.in and log in using their JEE Main application number and password. The interested candidates should complete their JoSAA online registration on or before June 11, 2026 (till 5 PM). Immediately after successful registration, the candidates can fill out their choices, and they should enter the maximum number of choices in their preferred order. Since the authority will release the round 1 and round 2 JoSAA mock allotment results on June 8 and June 10, 2026, respectively, it is advised to complete the online registration and fill in the choices before that.

For JoSAA Choice Filling 2026, those who have passed JEE Main 2026 will need to register using their JEE Main 2026 registration number and password. Similarly, candidates who have passed JEE Advanced 2026 must enter their registration number and JEE Advanced 2026 password to register for counselling. Candidates must fill out their preferences for the institutes and courses they wish to enrol in after completing the JoSAA 2026 registration process. Only those candidates who register and fill out their choices for the JoSAA counselling 2026 within the stipulated period will be considered for a seat. A centralized JoSAA 2026 counselling process will be used to allocate seats based on JEE Main/JEE Advanced 2026 rankings.
