Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry admission starts from the first week of May. Interested candidates can apply online; the application form is available on the official website of the college. The candidates need to fill the form carefully and also download the admission brochure or prospectus from the college website.  

The candidates before proceeding to register online are advised to carefully read the prospectus and keep ready the scanned images of photograph, signature and other relevant certificates for having a smooth experience.

Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the four-semester M.Tech Course in Civil Engineering with specialization in Advanced Construction Technology should have passed B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering or B. Arch/B. Arch Engineering through regular course of study from an AICTE approved institution or an examination of any University or Authority accepted by the Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto, with at least 55% marks in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA.

The candidates should have done BCA/ BBA or hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Commerce/ Corporate Secretaryship/ Economics with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).

PEC MCA Admissions Application Process 2019

• The CENTAC PG application form for MCA will be available on the official website of the CENTAC and the candidates can fill the application form online by providing all the basic personal, educational and contact details in the application form, the candidates will also have to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and all other important documents. After providing all the information into the form, the candidates can submit it along with the required application fee. The application fee can be paid in an online mode through credit/Debit Card or net banking. The application fee for General category candidates is INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for reserved category candidates. The candidates must check the duly filled form before click on the submit button.
• The CENTAC PG Entrance Examination will be conducted through the examination authority to provide the admission.
• Once the result gets declared and candidates get shortlisted, then the CENTAC PG Counseling will be conducted. After that, the shortlisted candidates need to pay the requisite CENTAC counselling fee online. The candidates will invite to attend the counselling of CENTAC on the basis of scores in the examination.

PEC M.Sc selection process depends upon the candidates score in the entrance test conducted by CENTAC.

The Higher Secondary Examination of the (10+2) curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examination equivalent there to with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for OBC and SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of subjects – Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Biology (Botany & Zoology) or an Examination of any University or Authority recognized by the Executive Council of the Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto.

PEC B.Tech Admissions Eligibility 2019

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen. However, the French Nationals residing in UT of Puducherry can also apply.
• If he/she has the domicile certificate, then a candidate is considered to belong to the UT of Puducherry.
• The candidates studying/passed the HSC/12th examination with at least 45% marks (40% arks for reserved category) from a recognized board are eligible to apply and Physics & Mathematics are mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science subjects.
• 85% of the total intake is earmarked for candidates belonging to UT of Puducherry and the remaining 15% is for candidates from the other States of India.

• Before applying for CENTAC the candidates need to appear in the JEE exam, then candidates can register themselves on the official website of Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC). After the registration process is complete successfully, candidates will be able to fill the remaining application form only after the payment of application fees. The application fee can be paid in an online mode through credit/Debit Card or net banking. The application fee for General category candidates is INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for reserved category candidates. The candidates must check the duly filled form before click on the submit button.
• CENTAC will be prepared merit list, based on the marks scored in the qualifying exams JEE.
• The shortlisted candidates need to pay the requisite CENTAC counseling fee online and then choose their preferred college and subject/course for the admission. After that, the candidates will be invited to attend the counselling of CENTAC on the basis of ranks as mentioned in the merit list. Then, Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit list and choices filled.
