Christ (Deemed to be) University is a university located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Christ University BA LL.B Application Process 2022

Christ University’s BA LLB application process began on 30th April 2022 and will end on 10th June 2022. Each program's applications will close around a week before the scheduled selection procedure. All aspirants must go to and register by providing their name (as mentioned in their Class 10 Marksheet), password, and email ID. The entered email address and phone number will be used to send confirmation emails and application status updates. An applicant may apply for multiple chosen programs using the same ID as long as the eligibility conditions for each program are met.

The application process steps for Christ University’s BA LLB dual degree course are as follows:

  • Visit the official link to register yourself by providing your name, email ID, and your registered mobile phone number.
  • Upon successful registration, candidates are required to fill and submit a detailed online application form along with a scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph in formal dress code and white background, and also mandatorily upload a scanned copy of their class 10th and class 11th/12th mark sheet.
  • Once you click on the submit button, an editable page will appear where you may make any last changes, save it and finally submit the application by clicking on “Confirm Submission”.
  • After this step, you will be redirected to the payment page where you will be required to pay the prescribed application fee using credit card/debit card/net banking.
  • After the payment, a nine-digit application number will be generated. Candidates must take a printout of the application form. In case, candidates were unable to take a printout of the application form due to system failure/ power cut, etc, they can visit the official website and under the “application status” page, they can enter the registered email address and mobile number to view and print the application form.

If the candidates are not able to find the application form then it means that the application process is incomplete and a full refund will be initiated to the candidate’s bank account in about 15 days.

  • All candidates must record their username and password, application number, program applied for, selection process date, and city for future reference.
  • The important dates section must be read before filling out the application, or candidates can select the selection process dates when filling out the application online.
  • No requests for date or city changes will be considered.

Christ University BA LL.B Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for the Christ University BA LLB dual degree program are mentioned below:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized school board(Karnataka PUC/ CBSE/ ISC/ NIOS/ State Boards) with a minimum aggregate of 45% in any stream (science, commerce, humanities, social sciences).
  • Students who are giving their 10+2 examination between March-May 2022 can apply with their class 10th and class 11th marks.

The students pursuing the international syllabus must note that eligibility conditions will be according to the AIU rules:

  • Applicants studying the IB curriculum must have 3 SL and 3 HL credits with a total of 24 credits.
  • Applicants seeking GCE/ Edexcel must have at least three A levels with a grade of C or higher.

Christ University BA LL.B Admission Process 2022

Admission to the Christ University BA LLB five-year integrated undergraduate course will be provided to the candidates based on three important criteria mentioned below:

Eligibility No. 1: Christ University’s Law Entrance Exam which will be held online. Candidates are required to successfully pass the MCQ-based entrance exam as the first step of the admission process.

Eligibility No. 2: Candidates who will successfully pass the entrance exam will be moving forward to the next step in the selection process which is a micro presentation and personal interview. For the micro presentation, a candidate is supposed to speak for 90 seconds on any topic given by the judging panel. Successful candidates will move forward to the next round which will be a personal interview round that may last up to 10 minutes. Both the micro presentation and personal interview will be conducted online.

Eligibility No. 3: Candidates are required to submit scanned copies of their class 10th and class 11th/ 12th mark sheets at the time of applying online. A candidate’s performance in class 10th and class 11th/ 12th will be evaluated and taken into consideration for the admission process.

Candidates who successfully pass the above-mentioned criteria will be awarded admission to Christ University’s BA LLB integrated course after the completion of the counseling process.

Selected candidates will receive an e-offer letter of admission that will be valid up to the date mentioned in the letter of admission. Candidates are further advised to download the admission offer letter from the “application status” link on the university’s official website.

To complete the further admission process candidates must follow the steps below:

  • To ensure a smooth admissions process, candidates must select their desired date and time from the given alternatives.
  • Enrollment must be conducted at the campus where the program is offered as specified in the admission offer.
  • Fees must be paid online per UGC requirements.
  • Payment choices and the rest of the details will be provided in the admission offer.
  • As part of the admission procedure, the complete fee for the first year, including the admission registration fee, must be paid in full.

Documents Required for Christ University BA LL.B Counselling Process

Candidates are required to produce certain documents during the admission process to Christ University for BA LLB. All the requisite original documents along with one set of photocopies of the same must be submitted to the college at the time of admission. The required documents for admission are listed below:

  • Class 10th and Class 11th/ 12th mark sheet
  • Class 12th transfer certificate to be submitted by 20th October 2022
  • Class 12th migration certificate must also be submitted by 20th October 2022 (except Karnataka state board applicants)
  • One passport size and one stamp size photograph with a white background and in formal dress
  • Two photocopies of the online payment receipt
  • A copy of government identity proof (Aadhar Card/ PAN Card/ Aadhar Enrolment Receipt/ Voter ID Card)

Candidates who fall into one of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) must present the following documents:

  • Passport and Visa Information Copies (Compulsory).
  • PIO/OCI must provide a copy of their PIO/ OCI card, whichever is relevant (Compulsory).
  • Resident Permit (RP) and Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner accredited by the Medical Council of India (If available while applying).

Note: An undertaking for awaiting original documents that are currently unavailable must be presented to the office of admissions by students passing/appearing in the March-June 2022 exam. These documents must be submitted by October 20, 2022.

Christ University BA LL.B Entrance Exam 2022

Christ University conducts an online Law Entrance exam to admit candidates to its BA LLB dual degree course. The online law entrance exam for the Christ University’s BA LLB integrated course is scheduled to be held on 20th June 2022. 1. NRI fee is payable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign curriculum (must be accepted by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. The preceding criteria do not apply to NRIs or candidates who applied under the NRI category. 

2. An NRI fee is charged for the duration of the Program for candidates who;

  • Have taken and passed their last qualifying exam outside of India.
  • Are NRIs and applicants who applied under the NRI category.

3. To be eligible for the Indian / Karnataka category fee, candidates must have studied in India / Karnataka for the previous seven years. (This does not apply to OCI, foreign nationals, or PIO)

4. The registration cost of INR 5000/- is non-refundable in the event of admission cancellation. This price will be in addition to any applicable cancellation fee.

5. A candidate if "Selected" after appearing in the final selection process, may pay the cost using net-banking /RTGS Payment / NEFT. The transfer of fees does not guarantee admission.
