Christ University LLM online application process is currently ongoing and the last date to apply for the course is May 14, 2023. The applications for each programme close about a week before the scheduled selection procedure. All applicants must register at https://appstat.christuniversity.in by submitting their name (as it appears on their Class 10 mark sheet), password, and email address. The email and phone number you provide will be used to send confirmation emails and application status updates. As long as the eligibility requirements for each program are met, an applicant may apply for numerous programs using the same ID.

The following are the steps for applying to Christ University's LLM postgraduate degree program:

  • To register, go to the official webiste and enter your name, email address, and registered mobile phone number.
  • After successfully registering, candidates must fill out and submit a complete online application form, as well as a scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph in formal dress code and on a white backdrop, as well as a scanned copy of their class 10th and 12th mark sheets along with LLB degree mark sheet.

Christ University LLM Admission Eligibility Criteria 2023

The Christ University LLM Eligibility Criteria 2023 are as follows:

  • Candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree (3 or 5 year LLB courses) from any university in India or abroad recognised by UGC/ AIU with a minimum aggregate of 50% and above are eligible to apply.
  • Students who will be taking their undergraduate degree exams in March - May 2023 are also eligible to apply (applicants who are in their final year of LLB (3 or 5 year courses) should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters/ years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far).
  • Students who are pursuing an international curriculum should follow the eligibility requirements set forth by the AIU.
  • There is no maximum age limit to apply for the Christ University’s LLM postgraduate degree programme.
  • Candidates must also clear the written entrance test conducted by the Christ University along with scoring good marks in micro presentation and personal interview conducted post the entrance test to successfully get admission to the LLM degree programme.

Christ University LLM Selection Process 2023

Candidates will be admitted to Christ University's one-year postgraduate LLM programme based on three major criteria listed below:

  • Criteria 1: The first stage of the admission process is skill assessment. It’s a written test conducted by Christ University via online mode to assess candidates’ legal knowledge and other skills that are crucial to successfully completing the one-year LLM postgraduate programme. Candidates who pass this first stage of the admission process move on to the next stages of the LLM admission process.
  • Criteria 2: Applicants who pass the skill assessment written test will advance to the next stage of the selection process, which includes a micro presentation and personal interview. A contender for the micro presentation must talk for 90 seconds on any topic chosen by the judging panel. Successful candidates will advance to the next step, which will be a personal interview lasting up to 15 minutes. The micro presentation and personal interview will both take place online.
  • Criteria 3: Once the candidates complete filling out the online application form, they are required to upload the scanned copies of the 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets on the application status login page for the academic performance verification by the admissions department of Christ University.

Note: Applications with no mark sheets attached or unclear scanned copies of the mark sheets will be rejected and termed ineligible.

The dates for Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview will be mentioned in the e-admit card that candidates will receive two days before the opted date for the skill assessment exam. Applicants who successfully pass all of the above-mentioned admission process stages will be admitted to Christ University's one-year LLM programme following the completion of the counseling procedure.

Selected candidates will be sent an e-offer letter of admission, which will be valid until the date specified in the letter. Candidates are also recommended to download the admission offer letter from the university's official website's "application status" link.

To proceed with the admissions process, candidates must fulfil the following steps:

  • To facilitate a smooth admissions process, candidates must choose their preferred day and time from the options provided.
  • Enrollment must take place at the campus where the program is offered unless otherwise mentioned in the admission offer.

  • The entire first-year fee, including the admission registration charge, must be paid in full as part of the admission procedure.

Documents Required for Christ University LLM Counselling Process 2023

10. Candidates who fall into one of the following categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN /OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) should apply.

  • Passport and Visa Information (Mandatory).
  • Candidates applying under PIO or OCI must provide a copy of their PIO or OCI card, if appropriate (Mandatory).
  • A Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any qualified medical practitioner who is a member of the Medical Council of India, and
  • Permit to Reside (RP) (If available while applying)

11. Photographs in passport and stamp sizes (Mandatory).

12. A valid photo ID (Aadhar Card/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Electoral ID) in original form (Mandatory).

Note: Students passing/ appearing in the March - June 2023 exam must provide an undertaking for pending original documents that are currently unavailable to the admissions office. These documents are due by August 2023.
