Colleges Accepting SET 2021 Scores: Fee Structure, Selection Criteria

SET is a common entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU). The exam is organised for admission to the various BBA, BCA, B.Sc and B.A courses offered by the participating colleges of SET. This year SET was expected to be held on June 27, 2021, but the exam date has been pushed ahead by SIU for an indefinite period of time. The new exam schedule is yet to be released. The application process of SET 2021 started on February 18, 2021, and it will continue till June 4, 2021. 

Along with the schedule, the exam mode and pattern of SET 2021 have also changed. The exam was earlier set to be held through CBT across more than 80 test cities but keeping in view the COVID-19 situation, it will now be held through an online home proctored mode. Candidates who perform well in the exam are selected for the counselling rounds. In this article, we have provided the list of colleges that accept SET 2021 scores. Selection Criteria of Colleges Accepting SET 2021 Score

All the participating colleges of SET 2021 will release their merit list. The merit list of the colleges accepting SET 2021 scores will be prepared as per the following criteria.

SET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of SET 2021 before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria of the SET 2021 exam is provided below.

• The candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate or equivalent (45% for SC/ST category) in the class 12 examination

• Candidates waiting for their class 12 results may also apply for SET 2021

• Candidates who have completed class 12 or equivalent examination from a Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

SET Exam Pattern 2021 (New)

The question paper of SET 2021 is divided into four sections, namely General English, Quantitative, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.  The total number of questions and marks have been reduced for the year 2021. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer in the examination while there will not be any negative marking for an incorrect answer. The updated exam pattern of the SET exam is provided below.
