The University of Delhi offers a wide variety of UG and PG courses and programmes. Delhi University’s BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences is one such degree that is different from the other programmes offered by DU. BA (Hons) Social Sciences and Humanities is a degree that is offered by the Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) and the degree is offered to the student as an innovation degree.

The candidates who plan to pursue the programme from DU’s Cluster Innovation Centre will be able to construct their own degree, i.e. they will be able to choose their own subjects and courses that they wish to study under BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Science. Those studying BA (Hons) Social Sciences and Humanities will also have the opportunity to pursue the respective programme from any Delhi University affiliated college, which they call as the 'meta-college' concept.
However, the first and the last semester of the programme will be conducted at the CIC itself.BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences is an interdisciplinary course, which means that the student will be able to choose any subject or course under the programme. The student will be asked to conduct research work at the undergraduate level itself. Among the courses that the student will be able to pursue under the programme are Journalism, Design, Art, Historical Tourism and Counselling.

To pursue the interdisciplinary course from the premier university, you will first be required to meet the necessary DU BA(Hons) Humanities and Social Science entrance exam eligibility criteria 2020 as outlined below.

DU BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Science Entrance Exam Application Process 2020
After ensuring that you meet the necessary eligibility requirements, you can then complete the application process. The DU BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Science Entrance Exam application process for 2020 has been defined below:
All applications to the course are accepted in online mode, therefore, you must visit the official website of Delhi University and apply for the course.
Registration: At the official website, you will be asked to create a login ID and password, which will be completed once you enter the necessary details.
Course Selection: After registering yourself with the university, you will be asked to select the course of your choice, in this case, BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences.
Fill Application Form: Subsequently, candidates will be required to fill in the application form online.
Uploading Documents: You must then attach the necessary self-attested copies of the necessary documents along with a scanned image of your passport size photograph which has been recently clicked.
Max Image Size: 50KB in JPEG, JPG or PNG format.
Registration Fee Payment: After the submission of the application form along with the documents and scanned photograph, candidates must pay the application fee. All payments will be accepted in online mode via the given modes of payment.
Registration Fee for General Category: ₹500
Registration Fee for SC/ST and PwD Category: ₹250
The payment of the registration/application fee will confirm the submission of the application form of the candidate to the admission of the course.
Note: All candidates are advised to take a printout of the completed application form and registration fee receipt for future admission references.
Documents Required for DU BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences Application 2020
The candidates who are interested in taking admission under the programme will need to bring certain documents in order for the University to verify the eligibility of the candidate. The documents required for DU BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences admissions are similar to the documents required for other programmes offered by the University of Delhi. The candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of the University of Delhi. The Entrance examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Once the application has been submitted, the candidates will be called for the Delhi University BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences selection process and merit list. The candidates will have to meet all the eligibility criteria to appear for the DU entrance examination. The selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in the entrance examination, therefore, the candidates must ensure that they have satisfied the DU entrance examination rules. The candidates will be informed of their selection status through the contact details that provided the University or via a merit list that will be released by the college.
Delhi University BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam Pattern 2020
The candidates who are interested in pursuing the programme under the University of Delhi will have to appear for the entrance examination in order to be able to take admission to the programme. The Delhi University BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences Exam Pattern is pretty simple. The candidates will have to sit for a 2-hour Pen and Paper Test. The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and applicants will have to answer a total of 100 questions within the stipulated time.
